Went to the sales office earlier and checked out the site. Probably getting Areca this weekend. Btw, I would say that Areca is located at a very strategic spot. And has good value for the money.

What do you guys think about the rental upon completion? hmm.gif

Why so cheap?
*
Only two rows, intermediate facing the west is priced at RM398K. The rest starts from RM420K ++. There are even RM600K ++.
The advertisement stating it's only RM398K is their marketing strategy. nod.gif

Btw, I got my unit today! icon_rolleyes.gif

Hi all, went to check out BSC this afternoon. Took the guthrie highway and was very long as I live at Kepong. Any other way from Kepong? Other than that, the site is huge. Went to checkout Bromelia, really nice but contractor did not allow to enter in as he said public is not allowed. Duranta looks really good too. Anyway does anyone know how to get there without passing the depressing kampung road? too many traffic lights and too long. smile.gif

Upgrade: stayed in BU for a no. Of years and found the DSL cramp though newer than those in Tmn. Megah. Semi-D in BSC is a big upgrade= new and happy open space!
Downgrade: fewer food choices in BSC at least for 2 years I guess. Will miss all the fantastic chinese and mamak food in SS2, Kelana Jaya. Anybody know of good chinese hawker food outlets in say, sg. Buloh and kota damansara? These 2 will be nearer towns to BSC for food. Hypermart may go to Carrfour in kota damansara. Any nearer outlet for grocery? The wet market in BSC belongs to Majlis Daerah Kuala Selangor. Klk will not build it as it has been surrendered to the Govt. as a public plot and a project under public utility, according to KLK under the law.
It depends on how MDKS prioritise the wet market construction, and meanwhile, they may allow pasar pagi.

I went to d site earlier. Sorry no pictures though. blush.gif I surveyed the surrounding areas, There's an Econsave, UOB, OCBC, a few mamaks, dobi, kedai runcit, a number of workshops nearby. Must turn right at the first traffic light when coming from BSC along Jln Meru. Unfortunately, didnt see any chinese restaurants. cry.gif

Btw, I used the Sg. Buloh way, it took me only 20 mins to get to BSC from Kepong. The road was quite clear though. And the kampung along the road looks less depressing than the first time I went. Maybe, I've lessen my expectations. LOL.

Did you mean jalan Meru Tambahan?
*

Yeah Jalan Meru Tambahan. A few other housing projects also taking place around there. In the future, the roads are going to be congested if it is not widened.

Something that worries me is that I hear many are buying for investment. Which means not all the houses will be occupied.

Besides, I heard many feedback saying the major concern is the travelling.
