From the replies I have gathered, some establish developers are indeed using metal deck roofing for even bungalows. This shows that there are indeed better quality metal roof material and insulation techniques available in the market compared to the case I have gone through. However, this info came to me only later, and the case I went through was genuine, which gives ground to believe what I have seen and heard as a poor case of metal roofing and insulation. Hence, prozak53 should now be convinced that there is no attempt at insinuation at all, particularly at developers.

What he should have done should be, if he is in the know, to offer some info on this issue of insulation. Instead he showed 'indignance', and yet, refrain from giving a suitable answer. By talking about something else i.e. lightning - the cause of thunder whereas we are talking of the effect of thunder - loud sound, and by his further talk of the effect of rain, not thunder sound, on metal roofing in his links, he is saying to all readers of this forum that he is dodging the issue, that there is indeed a big problem over the use of metal deck roofing that he wouldn't or can't address at all! This amounts to casting doubts over the qualities of homes offered by the few big time developers that he has so eagerly named.
If I were a staff of any of these developers named by him, I would definitely take him on from here and question over his motive! For a simple reason : if he is genuinely innocent, he shouldn't put his foot into the discussion if he doesn't know about insulation, or if he did know something, what is his reason for withholding the info? Who is he truly trying to cast us against in this forum meant for home buyers? KL Kepong won't be fooled by this, I think.
Like me a post earlier, if you think he is somehow weak in his analytical capacity and is downright idiotic, he might be a happy person that no one knows what he is truly getting at. He rather downgrades his intellectual capacity to let you and I think that he doesn't know the difference between 'cause' and 'effect'. But this is highly unlikely. wink.gif

It really depends on what we are getting. Sophisticated factory may get double layers insulations (Example:rock wool), residential usually get 1 layer, then again the thickness matter.

So you have to find out 3 variables which interdependent:
[Number of layers] of [what material] of [what thickness]

Too uncertain I will leave it to luck. tongue.gif

Added on April 29, 2012, 4:14 amThe required thickness base on the density of material.

I personally do not think there is any show unit at Phase 1 area. Bocoz none of those ready complete units at Banyan 1C/8 (2)[No2 & 2A], Bromelia 1B/2 (2)or Duranta 1A/1 (2)[No25 & 27] is not doing any interior job.
Maybe KLK does not need to have any show unit to promote sales biggrin.gif
Call-up my lawyer firm regarding some of my documents did ask them Banyan II launching time, it should be around in July.
The big TNB area which is beside Duranta is lower ground area not same lever with Duranta. The Pesiaran Serai Wangi road behind Duranta 1A/7 is around 3/4 storey high, distance is at less 50~60ft to house.
Advise to does want to visit site make sure not raining for many days, pick some those at Public holiday (most worker maybe off & less lori) and you may able to drive till Duranta road 1A/7. thumbup.gif

Hi, I am Duranta buyer! I have shopped around housing project nearby like Alam Putri and Seri Putra Mas before I bought my future home at Bandar Seri Coalfield. Compare the site plan and construction progress, I believe I've made the right choice and confident Bandar Seri Coalfield will turn into promising area in future.

I went to the site today after heavy downpour. I would expect the lousy road and drainage water. To my surprise, there was not much water drainage on the site and can see the overall drainage system is so well done even the construction still in progress. I managed to drive my car in and stop in front of my future house. Perhaps can share some photos with the home buyers here when i able to upload.. laugh.gif

These two units look like already completed. The gates were locked.

Like : nice door, porch fully tiled all the way to the gate.

Not so like : gate looks cheap, side entrance narrow, front pavement (outside of wall in front of letter box) doesn't look properly done

Enjoy and dream about your new houses biggrin.gif
