After a few tries, found the whole list of 'project baru' under KLK for BSC, and there is this 43 acres central park in BSC in the list!

You can try Wei Jia Renovation & Construction. Currently he is doing a renovation work at Bromelia (2nd project after finished doing my house)

Hi BSC-ans, Just want to share my minor renovation experience. I didn't engaged with any of on-site contractors at BSC as I got the reasonable price wtih the local chinese contractor. I am satisfied customer with thier service and money spent. The good thing here is, when something not right they did during renovation I straightly contacted them and the rectification done very fast. If anyone interested or still looking contractor for renovation, ai would recommend them to all of u, just pm me to get their number smile.gif

Hi, anyone can enlighten me on the procedure on filing MPKS for kitchen and room extension. Do i need to get an architect to draw the floor plan?

What is the doc i need to prepare and the rates?

If DS intermediate, normal extension, just go to their office and buy the standard plans.
Call them first to find out what documents to bring. If lucky you may be able to get everything done in one trip. Cost RM1000++ including 500 deposit for disposal bin.

If non-standard very extensive renov, or corner or SemiD, then have to draw plans. There are many restrictions on how many feet from the fence and so on.
Simplest way is to pay your contractor to do it. They know who to go to. Cost RM2500+-
Check the final plans before they send it.

Be aware that with MDKS, renovation will increase your annual assessment rate a bit. Because you can now rent out the house for more, and the rates are based on estimated rental.
I read somewhere that if you have awnings, there is an extra charge of RM35 per year. Something like that.

I also just got my renovation permit and notice there got extra RM35 need to pay every years.

Looks like BSC is set to make a major impact as a large modern township! It is easily seen and its name will be mentioned as a major landmark to travelers asking for directions. Arriving there, people will then be greatly surprised to see a huge modern oasis sits grandly in the vast plain, one of its kind in the area. It is history in the making as far as development goes. Its open view and entrance offers great potential to become very outstanding. The landscaping in front and within is the determining factor - make or break!
May I humbly suggest that KLK's bosses takes this as the opportunity to carve their name as THE DEVELOPER for this magnificent project!! Things may come and go but homes last for centuries to come.

May KLK's fame last over the centuries..世世代代留英名!

Thanks. I would say, views are more important to be considered and discussed here. I was trained to think all round, meaning look at the whole effect, not just the parts within. If parts ( homes) are handsome but surrounding is a mismatch, a disjointed look will ensue. Klk is still having future launches to sell and an integrated good looking landscaped curb at the least end or more to other things will lend more beauty to attract buyers and investors alike.

Guess ur home will be very grand lateron......there is a banyan very nicely renovated....beside end t juntion from bromelia guard house.....black wall....garden very nice

Ya, that looks grand. A few other Banyans in phase 1 have a modern rich exterior look. Mine is still ongoing.
