yea. parked under morning sun from 8 - 2pm. after that got shade from building.

btw, is there other suspension/spring brand that is much better than the stock? i'm looking for super comfort type, like can absorb uneven road and potholes better.
*
U can test drive FLX and if u like its ride and handling, u can change to that? I think should be easier than mix n match outside cos u won't know which brands work for yr BLM.

ya ur right. dun hav frens wif blm on other suspension to test drive. but if i can afford to change cars, i rather upgrade than to stick to same model/make. so have to make peace with what i have right now and improve on it.

anyone done full soundproof/deadening on saga? what's the diff? honest opinions thx

stock tyre aint good. what i learn from tyre pro, r13 provides maximum thickness for the tyre to absorb the uneven road surface, however u need a wider surface contact to provide maximum road grip for safety purposes. depend ur taste la. some ppl wanna upgrade rim mar..but since i upgrade from r13 to r15, the grip got better, yet the car seems to be heavy a bit and a bit thirsty for petrol than usual.

timing belt and tensioner belt is different...so finally confirm...timing belt and tensioner belt have to be changed at 80k
how much is the tensioner belt?
and u just did your 80k service not long ago
u drive alot ....i haven't did my 80k service yet...now 73k KM
*
rm480 = timing belt kit (include timing belt, oil seal, bearings, bolts, other belt such as fan belt etc etc)+ labour (RM100)

rm390 = tensioner pulley, is something looks like belting arm where the belt attached with, that technician told me that mine is creating sound louder and louder, and he asked it will have the possibility to cause the belt jammed..don knw true o nt, but finally change...

but for sure, all parts are original from Proton, and they told me beginning from now, if car breakdown due to the timing belt problem, just towed back to SC and they will fix for me, warranty for 80kkm..

luckily water pump still fine, otherwise, need to change too...

hah?
from what i know....timing belt kit is only the timing belt itself and oil seal and bearing only
seen it in my dad's waja when he change timing belt last year
tensioner belt is different...it's very very long for saga
the aircon..etc..all using 1 belt which is the long tensioner belt

yup..timing belt kit is only, oil seal, belt and

the rm390 is the tensioner arm, bt it is whole piece of arm that attached to engine..

here it is the list:

timing belt kit:
- labour -100
- timing belt -135
- drive belt - 70
- timing bearing - 135
- bolt: 7
- seal belt covers: top inner, top, lower inner, lower, lower left hand, lower right hand : 41

Assymetric tensionser acc drive : 390

Hmm I dont know about that...coz from what I know FL 1.6 only change the engine from 1.3 Executive. Profile 50 tyre is ok i think, need to try with full load first biggrin.gif

i think it can withstand profile 55 if the suspension had gone stiffer to support 1.6 engine.

Yaa, i nvr met such problem b4 oso, until today.. doh.gif
Normally on highway I drive 130-140 one, even tried 160 b4..
Hv to send my car to service centre to do checkup dy,
I sincerely hope that they know something bout the gearbox blink.gif
Proton's technician attitude I don't really have confidence sweat.gif
That day I jz met with the epic "memang macam ini" attitude doh.gif
when I asked them to check my problematic signal indicator switch,
they told me it is normal as long as the signal indicator wil turn off itself
EVEN u hv to do a U-turn only it wil turn off shocking.gif
