just got my S2 today, reporting in !

my fon seems draining battery fast,not as same when first bought few month ago,same app,same usage,widgets,display almost drain like 70% of batt usage,already use the lowest brightness,try everything even used GSM only felt not much diffrent .any 1 wanna give idea?can go to SC samsung n get batt change?

After using the method thought by one of the user here, which is open google map 1st, then when the satellite signal is locked, open papago.

By using this method, it took less than a minute to get satellite signal for papago....

If i remember correctly if your data is on when you reboot, android will automatically download agps data. No indication is given. You can also use apps such as GPS status to update agps.

Is planning to get a S2, may i know how much for S2 now?

How is the GPS on the SGS2? I had a bad experience with Samsung Nexus S where the GPS can't even locate the satelite.

the tick visible is onli for ur phone to be visible to others.. it dun need to be visible to look for other devices.. did u put the MW600 in pairing mode? i.e hold the power button for some time till it blinks?..

Hi all, new S2 user here! =)

I just have a few questions to ask here.

I'm looking for a good GPS software to use, I've heard that PaPaGo is quite good, but I can't find it on the android market. Also, does using GPS softwares like these incur any extra charges? such as Data charges or stuff like that. I know the "Allow Data transfer" has to be on but if I turn that on wouldn't data charges apply?
I don't have a data plan subscription so any advice and help would be greatly appreciated! =D
