Or you buy or pinjam a USB jig to reset the counter and get rid of the yellow triangle.

I just bought mine and got rid of the triangle after flashing speedmod thumbup.gif

It is up to the end users what they wish to do with their phone, I don't think anyone should be judged. It is their phone, not yours.

If everyone thinks like you, it will be the death of fanboism as we know it lol.

Which is a GOOD thing, except some drama now and then is actually quite destressing.

As for mobile data, well, ever since I got my 5800 and dumped a broadband subscription onto it, I just can't think of life w/o having internet EVERYWHERE (as long as there's signal) any more.

God, I had a chance today to play around with the 2008 Samsung Top Dog, the original Omnia. How things have changed lol, though it had TouchWiz too.

The owner FINALLY decided to upgrade. I don't think I even need to mention what he upgraded to lol.

QUOTE(MaL @ Sep 8 2011, 04:17 PM)
anyone here knows how to share/transfer files/folders between 2 androids?...or any link to guide me there?...cant find it in the 1st page..
*
Got a few methods to transfer between android, here i'll list also between computers.

1) The classic yet fast and reliable, Bluetooth aka Gigibiru. Now with Bluetooth 3.0, if your comp/laptop/android supports it, it should be quite fast smile.gif best for small files, up to 25mb smile.gif
2) Exchanging the microsd card, this assumes you have a port or adapter or an phone with microsd/sd slot, speed would depend on your microsd class, but the fact that you have to off phone & take out the battery isnt very appealing. sad.gif
3) Swiftp, tutorial http://www.thesimplest.net/android/simples...roid-wirelessly thanks to iori57 notworthy.gif one of the best method of file transfer, it allows your phone to act as a server that can be accessed from your computer, best thing about ftp is you can access it using a normal window, therefore you can drag and paste, right click cut etc etc. Speed is average, 5mins 30 secs for a 261mb download, 2mins 45 secs for upload. best for above 100mb files. As for mobile, you can accessed that address using a file explorer or web browser
4) Kies Air, accessible from your app drawer, it acts also as a server, accessible and you can send sms from it too, moving of files is limited to 100mb, speed not sure as i didnt try moving before, need browser.
5) Wifi File Explorer, another app that uses wifi and act as a server, also unlike swiftp, requires a web browser.
6) ES File Explorer/Astro File Explorer or any other explorers that can support LAN, there are a few others. These require the usual know how about sharing your files and folders on the network, as long your files are shared, you can view them, and do all the things a file explorer can, copy paste cut etc, even stream from them but with limit.(this can also be achieved between androids given one shares his files via the Allshare app, while the other uses file explorer to take.)
7) The Best of all, Wifi-Direct, The best advancement in technology in its class, sending 130mb of files in 15-20 seconds, beating all the above methods by far. Transfer between 2 SGS2 is quite simple, altho you have to scan and reconnect each time after 2 minutes. Some files are not supported, so far .xml cant be sent. but speed, Godlike thumbup.gif Unfortunately not many devices supports wifi-direct, theoretically only 1 device is needed to have wifi-direct but in the SGS2 case, we need both devices to support it, why i still dont know as only a few devices are using it.

QUOTE(frey88 @ Sep 8 2011, 05:14 PM)
Wi-Fi direct will be useful in this case

I do not use a data plan, its pointless seeing how I have UNIFI at home. Plus those data plans they throttle the connection after the limit

hie,

please add in my name for new user...

i just bought this phone from celcom today. after using nokia for the past 10 years, now it's time to change !

i receive 1st call after 10 min switch on the phone and dunno how to answer.....after several miss call then i realize need to change the setting answering with the home button...hahahhaha

after i import the contact from sim card, still no name from my contact appear whenever call coming in even no number appear for any other number. only "UNKNOWN".

the phone book list is avalaible. i can send n receive message as other phone, contact as per phone book will appear.

any other setting to solve this problem? sorry for noob question. tried searching from this forum using the keyword "contact" and "phonebook" but not answering my problem.

thanks in advance...really appreciate the solutions...

Guys, I'm facing a headache with my SGS2 gps. Currently using Papago X5 and the satellite locking time takes more than 30 min and still couldn't lock.

Could it be any possible that my gps module got problem? Usually for an stock (unrooted) phone, it takes how long to get the satellite lock?

Please advice how to overcome this problem. TQ.....
*
Well just to check your outside right? Also turn on data to download aGPS data. Will help you lock faster. Papago lock within seconds on my device.
