Just install Patriot LX 16GB class10 and tested using SD Tools yields 11.3MB/s Write Speed and 17.4MB/s Read Speed.

Not bad for RM90

hmm, is it safe to just disconnect the usb cable while the mtp application is connected? cause after i updated to XXKH3, there isn't any "press the home button to quit kies" option. thanks!

If process shown complete success. Than just unplug

Was joking actually. I think it is possible to use wifi but never try before. Wait for someone else to respond.

Unless you're rooted and have hacked your WPA_Supplicant, no ad hoc. UNLESS the other device you intend to transfer from supports WiFi Direct (which the SGS2 already does).

Guys, I'm facing a headache with my SGS2 gps. Currently using Papago X5 and the satellite locking time takes more than 30 min and still couldn't lock.

Could it be any possible that my gps module got problem? Usually for an stock (unrooted) phone, it takes how long to get the satellite lock?

Please advice how to overcome this problem. TQ.....

Well , it's a personal choice . Some ppl uses smartphone coz they want the features like gaming , browsing , etc yet they feel its a waste to have a data plan when they r not being fully utilized . Some of my frens uses the basic maxis plan of 500mb yet end of the billing cycle , not even 100mb is used since they r on wifi most of the time . . . In those group is where u find ppl like u mentioned .

Oh ya , forgot to mentioned ..... I got a fren who recently purchased a Ferrari 430 but he doesn't go above 110kmh on the highway coz it's " against the law " doh.gif ..... Which u think is worst ?

well last time i use N97 oso without data plan (though nokia reli sucks in terms of the widgets they provide doh.gif)
so cant reli say so. depending on ur needs and the environment. if most of the time gt wifi coverage then its redundant to get data plan for 30+bucks per month jz to be connected for jz 20 to 30 minutes per day rite?

I'm using Papago too! what i'm doing right now is to turn on google maps first, make sure the GPS is connected then switch to Papago.
Everytime works like a charm, except without a car dock & charger, 30 minutes of navigation drains 70% of my batt! sweat.gif

It's common, especially among students, most of my friends bought smartphone without contract don't bother to get it,as it's not cheap and don't want to spend >RM100 on internet itself (they subscribe internet connection at rented houses).

I on wifi the whole day smile.gif
I'm only out of wifi areas occasionally, thus I'm using prepaid Maxis data which keeps me connected for "in-between" wifi areas.

I do not consider myself having a data plan as it's prepaid and can be stopped anytime.

And with all the push services now, no problem being disconnected for awhile.

It is up to the end users what they wish to do with their phone, I don't think anyone should be judged. It is their phone, not yours.

Consistently everytime every place I go is 3-5 secs for papago x5. My 3g is always on. It is sane since stock till all the rom's I tested. This had nothing to do with rooting
