Anyone here who owns an LG IPS236V has any problem with backlight bleeding? I bought mine a few days ago and found out that the bottom corners have some serious backlight bleeding. But its only noticeable at night when showing dark images.
I tried to get a new one from Sri Computers today but they ran out of stock, and repairing it might take weeks. Any other way to fix this? |

Just wanted to ask a quick question to those who use multiple monitor setup.
As per my understanding, the taskbar will only be available at the main monitor. Is there any way to extend the taskbar so that it would be available at all the monitors? E.g 3 monitors?? |

QUOTE(mohdazuan @ Jun 1 2012, 05:19 PM) U2412M is LCD panel based on LED backlight. so it is much cooler than LCD panel based on CCFL backlight. CCFL backlight LCD panel is much cooler than plasma screen nope, dell ultra heat series 3008, 2711, 2410 all those "hot model" can stand beside plasma tv level. LED is much better choice |

You can use Display Fusion to get taskbar across all monitors.. google it As per my understanding, the taskbar will only be available at the main monitor. Is there any way to extend the taskbar so that it would be available at all the monitors? E.g 3 monitors?? I am using it on my office setup.. and it work great.. each monitor have its own taskbar.. so apps opened on that monitor only appear on that monitor taskbar... so taskbar clutter free |

Just wanted to chime in. I'm using a Dell U2312HM ultrasharp IPS monitor.
The panel itself gives pretty decent colors, and the backlight is bright. Viewing angles are typical of an IPS panel. Biggest problem is that the panel has very high black levels, glows brightly when its dark. Also, the cheaper IPS panels they use appear grayish white when viewed at an angle in the dark. For professional work, it's outstanding - the good color accuracy makes it okay for video and photo too, but if you're going to game or watch movies on it a lot (which you would probably do in the dark) the halo is distracting. It also looks bad if you have an NV surround or eyefinity setup - I would suggest getting a non-IPS display for those purposes. The stand is leaps and bounds better than any other manufacturer's stand. Complete adjustment in al directions, very solid. |

For my Dell U2311H with has no HDMI port. Which is the best connection to a desktop?
I have HDMI,DP(full sized) and VGA cables at home. Which would you recommend? DVI-DVI? Mini DP (from graphics card) to DP adapter? Or any other coverters... VGA-VGA? |

Either DVI or DP can do, skip the VGA.I have HDMI,DP(full sized) and VGA cables at home. Which would you recommend? DVI-DVI? Mini DP (from graphics card) to DP adapter? Or any other coverters... VGA-VGA? if DVI cable is cheaper than DP converter then DVI cable, otherwise DP. |

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, have been having problem with my monitor, so decide to buy a new one. A 23" one, searched for dell and samsung, but the options are too many until my eyes blur..... Anyone of you have any opinion about which is more suitable for home use? budget of about 600.
