Just curious, why you need a touch screen monitor?
Dell ST2220T (RM749) seems like your only choice.

Im looking for a 27" monitor... prefer IPS as I am dealing with graphics and video 3d stuff.

Been targeting on the Dell U2711, but heard a lot of complain about its Antiglare coating.. There is no way to see the monitor myself... so I cant judge how serious this is.. Reviews on internet are good (but they did not touch the antiglare issue) but yet i found a lot of user complaining about it.

Any user experience here? mind to share...

or can recommend other better alternative 27" screen.

Heard some says it make text and thin line look fussy...white look dirty. I prefer antiglare compare to mirror gloss imac. But wonder is the antiglare actually an issue. how is your review on this? Thanks! Will love to get this as my birthday gift next month.. but I hope with no regret.

The antiglare is ok. Since my working area have many fluorescent light. The antiglare work perfect. I have to reduce the white (contrast) as it too bright.

The only problem is, the radiation is abit hot. Feel like sauna in front to the monitor.

U2412M is LCD panel based on LED backlight. so it is much cooler than LCD panel based on CCFL backlight. CCFL backlight LCD panel is much cooler than plasma screen biggrin.gif

Yes, first really feel uncomfort. But slowly get use to it. If no aircon, I think I can sweat.

The aircon is also on top of me. 2hp some more. Still can feel the heat from the panel.

Anyway after a while, you will use to it. Good luck.

it because its max resolution only 1920x1080. for 27" with that resolution, you may see large & stretch picture/video/desktop  doh.gif

dell 27" can go to 2560x1440.

obviously u dunno much about gaming monitor? only full hd monitor can give 120mhz.. i only need full hd 1920 x 1080. no need for larger reso than that

Hi All,

I have been having this issue from my AOC 2434pw.
Apparently, this is only happening to Windows Media Player, given if I'm using HDMI.

Whenever I play videos, monitor will go off and on.
Anybody know of this?
*
Happen to me before too on ATI 5770 graphic card and AOC 2434pw .....and i just dont care for like 6 months until i plug out the HDMI connect to other device and plug back to my graphic card then it suddenly become ok .....i think it might be HDMI

obviously i am not like you, know everything about GAMING monitor. since i am not computer game addict, thats why i do care about resolution comparing with its diagonal size, rather than large size with small resolution wink.gif
