Congrats.

I believe urs is decision ready visa. I heard that they are just processing non decision PR application submitted end of last year.

Planning to secure your own place there? Or you already bought one before approval?
*
decision ready? rclxub.gif

there are 2 types of processing. one is priority and another is non-priority. priority = will skip to most demand job and process the application first. non-priority = applicant need to wait on the queue based on the date they submitted

Is true, bro! But it's a little bit complex.

In general, there are two types of visa as you said, which is priority and non-priority. But then under the priority visa class, example RSMS, it is then further subdivided into "decision ready" and "non decision ready". You can also call it non-priority if you like! Act. it still falls under the priority group of visa, just that the visa application is longer compare to the decision ready.

You might ask what is the difference between decision ready and non decision! The reason ppl apply for non decision ready is because, they do not have complete documents when submission i.e. IELTS exam, medical check! Ya, is true, you no need to have completed documents when apply for non decision visa.

Working and earning dollars sounds nice. However, the living cost in Oz is also very 'nice' especially these 2 years. Rentals, public transport, utilities bill are getting higher and higher. If the employer here does not offer you a good salary package, I doubt the money you save (even after converting to RM) will be more than what you are saving in Msia. rclxub.gif

i will go back but not for now.

in melbourne working in education sector. i think is a law that they need to increase the pay every 6 months base on the "market rate". is not that much but better than nothing.

many companies(but not asian) will have performance review every 6 months or 1 year and they will increase your salary based on your performance

half yearly performance review is common but salary review half yearly is not really common, normally is yearly increment. I am not in the education section, never know there is such a law. It is a good policy though, taking care of the employees.

I am based in Sydney. I am only having yearly increment. however, the increment really cannot catch up with the inflation/cost of living in Sydney. It is getting out of hands. sad.gif

Can't really compared that way because we earn and spend in Australia itself. Looking at the bright side, there is at least an increment.

Actually, if you must go australia, die die also want to go , there is one way besides trying to get a skilled visa (or whatever crap visa) and HOPING to send THOUSANDS of resume in HOPES (fat hopes) that some company to hire you while you have enough saving (burning though it like Ferrari on petrol at full speed) to last you for your unemployment period.

The solution is simple. Instead of wasting hundreds of thousands of dollar for something not guaranteed, why not consider investing in a course to become a qualified nurse. I was told Australia is SO SHORT OF NURSES that they are willing to GIVE YOU A HIGH PAYING JOB AND sponsor you a working visa which will be converted into PR in a few years time. Isn't that just fantastic?! You get a stable job (and I was told the starting pay is quite high for nurses bout 5k-6k AUD a month before tax) and you get to live in Australia.

doctors, paramedic drivers, nurses, well train specialist
they want them.

engineer(other than mining), construction can slowly w8 4ever.
got a aunty i know, 10 months or so still cannot find job even with 25 yr exp in construction field

btw those willing to be high rollers, get ready to give 49 cents for every dollar u get.

Hey Guys, I have PR and moving to Victoria soon. But I plan to look for a job before leaping over like a kangaroo.

Is it really tough to look for a job outside Australia? I have not received any interviews although I've submitted a few job applicastions online. I'm in IT field by the way, I received lots job offers in SG..and none in AU..its weird right
