Haha, degree is meant for asian, that's wat Ozzie think. Asian are the cash cow. I heard uni fees now hit 22k/annum.
Ozzie don't really need degree holder, just take a course in TAFE. Hair dresser or watever bluecollar jobs will earn u 6 figures annually.

22k? So cheap? My masters edi 35k a year lol UNSW. Even my IADP and IWCF joint cert costs 3k AUD for 5 days.

But it is my view that White Australians with a degree will be far better than an equivalent Asian migrant, simply because;

1) They're very passionate about what they do
2) They're very meticulous career planners
3) They're very focused on keeping their foundation

They don't go to uni if they aren't interested. Us Asians, interested or not, go to uni, churn out shit grads, forget all our basics.

Plus I'm both Uni and TAFE trained. If you ask me, professionally, TAFE is better than uni. It is a lot more useful and gets to the point. When I went to Uni, the best students were electricians who already did TAFE and their apprenticeships.

Think Masters/PHD are a different level for prices. I know for UWA degree (engineering) is about 32k while commerce could be as low as 24k/annum.

Masters and PHD on the other hand is crazy but normally you only study them if you get scholarships.

Tuition fee prices increase by 10-15% every year. When i did my master in 2008, it only cost me about AUD22K per year.

Depends on uni and generally what subject matter. But most top tier universities charge around 33 to 35k a year for international students.

I generally pay extra per year due to the distance learning thing and need for add on courses. My only consolation is that I get HECS.

Chinese just like to show off in here. I feel goosebump whenever I see those number plates with I <3 <girl's name>. But they can easily change the rego if they broke up anyway

So tomorrow is an election day and both parties still 50-50. My colleagues still don't even know who to vote and just follow friends on that day doh.gif

True. But either way I have done my duty.

Now that's done I can prepare for footie in the afternoon and badminton at night.

Anyways, Immigration is going to reindex the visa prices soon but I hear that 457 visas might come back into vogue under the liberals.

Palmer Uniter is a joke for me. THey don't even know what they going to offer to Australian and is all about business to that Palmer(he is a billionaire)

There are many minor parties like Senator Online and even Pirate Party.

My friends will go for Green and also some of my colleagues going for Labor because of the NBN

Based on my understanding here is each party gives their manifesto to public on wat they're doing after they took over the government. So far i heard some issue they brought up and if i did some mistake comment here, please correct me.

Labor Party:-
1) Labor party wish to continue govern as coalition party. They wanna replace the carbon tax with other tax scheme structure. Since carbon tax is something disappointing the big players here especially the mining, electricity and coal burning. So this additional tax has put pressure to the people. The company tat suffers the tax have to slash the job opportunity following the demand of mining sector to the overseas client such as China. It's the biggest hit and might becoz of this issue gonna pull the party down.
2) They continue to increase their spending to boost the economy since now they're deficit and dump in billions of dollars to the transportation budget.
3) Continue to spend more on education budget
4) Gay rights to legalise in 100 days, i think when Kevin Rudd highlight this, he's really desperate to win now. Even though Ozzie is a guai low contry and very open minded, they're still a conservative country. Homosexual community consider as minority and majority Ozzie is disappointing when he highlight this & gonns pull him down too coz majority christian here oppose this.

Liberal Party:-
1) abolish carbon tax
2) create more work
3) slash the expenditure
4) halt the transportation project
5) try to save money and making surplus

I don't really know what the greens up to coz their manifesto don't really get to my ears so far...anyone could enlighten us here?
Forget about palmer united. I don't think he gonna win a seat. He's a billionaire and sometimes people just afraid that he's caring for his own money.

Totally different political scenario compare to malaysia. They post and criticise politician on tv commercial, papers, posters. But not hanging their flags or poster along the road. Everyday just a normal day and their election day is totally quiet!
