i wouldnt using dvdr (unless u REALLY HAVE TO)to play ur games sparodically..

agreed with u snake ,it's better using hdloader for play backup game to prolong your lens life

is it the PS2 disc game which sold by PS shop ??

Dear fellow forumers...I'm a new be here and facing a problem.

Last month my brother just purchased a PS2 at Summit USJ. After playing for a while (I guess my brother never clock it more than 5 hour accumulate) this problem start. Currently I cannot clock more than 15 minutes and although I change to another game, the problem return after 5-6 minute. When this happend, even the "Sony Playstation" screen won't appear....

Please advice me before I smash this PS2 to the sellers face. Mind you that it's only 7 weeks old.

pls claim warranty. since its under warranty. and if they dont want, then only u can smash it on his face. pls provide pictures ok.

my ps2 cant go no further than the playstation 2 logo on all the games that i tried recently..is this a sign of kaput laser ? the just doesnt read the disc..well sometimes read but no more than the playstation 2 logo..never even get into the game menu.

im taking it to mario electronics penang today,well any input from u guys would be great esp how much would it cost to repair this.

p/s : need to repair quick coz wanna play ff12..

Hey sniper... the last picture... i noticed there's some banding at the bottom right corner of your TV display. is that a common problem?

I have that too. different places on different TVs... it's annoying but if it's a common problem, i guess i'll have to live with it.

I think its nothing wrong with his TV. He's using dig cam...maybe his hand lil bit shaky...or mis"align". Hehhehehehe....

hmm then how come mine appears banded/misaligned in all the TVs i've tried so far? DIfferent angles, different severity too... weird right?
