ive been trying multiple methods to play divx on my ps2 but none seems to work..any method that u guys tried/using that works quick n easy ?

my ps2 cant go no further than the playstation 2 logo on all the games that i tried recently..is this a sign of kaput laser ? the just doesnt read the disc..well sometimes read but no more than the playstation 2 logo..never even get into the game menu.

im taking it to mario electronics penang today,well any input from u guys would be great esp how much would it cost to repair this.

p/s : need to repair quick coz wanna play ff12..
