Price ok (moderate la, there are more expensive ones and also cheaper ones too if you google enough), but also must look at workmanship and after sales support. The way the kit is attached, whether the surface is cleaned properly and primer applied before sticking, how long warranty given and what are the warranty condition, all these are important. You do not want a nice looking kit that you can get at a discounted price to sag or fall off after a slight knock on road bumps.
Anyway, after about a month with my mugen kit on, i already knocked the front lip twice, once on a very high road bump (curse the person who design such a high bump to be there) and another one is on a parking ramp in shopping complex (I came down too fast and brake hard too late causing the front of the car to come too low). Only scratch mark on underneath so not visible unless you crawl under the car. All the doublesided tape attachment and the screw mount are still solid, and luckily enough, it does not damage the original bumper attachment to the car body. Lesson learned, promised myself will not drive the insight like a 4WD
I good thing about kit using ABS material is that the base colour is white too, so even scratches are not that obviously visible. I have a lot of stone chips on my front lip now as I travel extensively on trunk roads with a lot of pebbles and a lot of lorries that stir them up. By the way, this only applicable if your car is white, if you are on dark blue or black, then PU material that have a black base should help to make minor damage like stone chip less obvious.
