hey guys...when phone is charging,i checked the temperature its 42celcius...is it normal? or quite high?
*
Your phone can sustain 54C up to 5 hours continuously (as i had tested it) :-P
But to be on the safe side, if your phone reach 50C then stop the charging. Most probably either your phone or your charger got problems :-)

The adinda is well known for having much less then advertised mah, something like 1450mah.

Also, the guy with the pack just reported that the battery gets LESS hot after hard use, maybe due to better ventilation.

Woohoo.

Perfectly normal, bro. I'm charging my phone right now too and it was at 44celsius earlier when I was messaging and all. Like waveweaver said, don't worry unless you hit 50 smile.gif

So., it's your motherboard ehh? Well atleast you get a free replacement and no more problems.
BTW, did you use 3G watchdog? Seems the older version got a bug that prevent your phone from charging and make your phone temperatures high.!

yea...i was using 3g watchdog, n i read about it being buggy, i jus updated it like an hour ago to the latest one..

yea it was the motherboard, but samsung's service is quite lousy, initially they said its normal n only reflashed my stock rom, then i had to explain n sound them abit, then oni they change my motherboard... but samsung wont completely change a whole unit after 1 week old already... anything they only change the parts

got one kinda funny question

gaming graphics wise, SGS2 vs iPad 2, which one delivers better graphics?

let's say both devices running on the same game from Gameloft
*
imo, both are the same, why? bcoz we're talking about MOBILE game graphics, not pc graphics, most mobile games dont even have graphics settings, as long the thing runs, it'll all look the same, especially for gameloft games. But people at xda has noticed that the sgs2 gameloft games needs to download a bigger sd files, so i blif sgs2 graphics are slightly better than the other android phones, if compared with ipad 2, ipad 2 has a bigger screen, higher resolution, i played with ipad 2 before, nothing special, same ol graphics.

edit: oh yea i just remembered, galaxy s2 supports Chainfire3D, if you bought the app, you have access to the egl driver with MS Anti Aliasing 4x and 16x, use this with a game and ipad 2 graphics sure lose thumbup.gif

anyone playing Backstab on SGS2? is it compatible and run smoothly?
*
AFAIK Gameloft havent release a sgs2 version of Backstab yet, but there is a compatible version altho your phone will get very hot but we cant discuss about how to get it here smile.gif

extra? i couldnt notice any difference, not so much i guess, i once charged andida full, then put in my full ori battery, the indicator shows 96% due to calibration errors, so i estimate andida is higher than ori battery by ~4%

Nope.! Never overclock my phone. I'm still on stock rom though i upgrade to KG1 already. If you want to know what i've done to achieve 54C, please refer to page 24 #post 479 and page 28 #post 547. Before that i manage to achieve 58C for one full hour :-P

There's no need to go into settings. Just long press your on button and from the pop-up, you can select disable or enable your data network :-)

Bravo, my good sir, bravo rclxms.gif

I'm still guessing that running your phone at those elevated temperatures *will* shorten your phone's lifespan in the long run. But I think that most of us will have changed phones long before then, unless, of course, you overclock and thus increase the voltage.

Speaking of overclocks though, I've overclocked mine tongue.gif It's max on SetCPU is now 1.4GHz at 1250mV, which is still below stock voltage for 1.2GHz (which is 1300mV). That made it quite a simple decision for me. More speed and less voltage? Yes please! biggrin.gif I also undervolted the rest of the clock speeds and made a "screen off" profile to reduce power consumption. Trying to suck every bit of juice I can get from this phone.

i'm not sure but from google mediaserver is everything related to your media files, mp3 usage or it can also mean the DLNA media server when you are connected to a wifi connection. You can freeze it through titanium backup.

p/s thanks for the dead space thumbup.gif
