IMHO., as long as both your phone and your charger is in good working condition then it's should be okay. Only thing is you waste your electric current. :-)

One should not be affected just by one user experience. Probably his phone connectors is defective ??
Well, I have been using Andida batteries since the days of Windows Mobile ( all HTC) and on Androids - Nexus, Galaxy S, HD2 ( android) and I have openly say in this thread is agood cheap reliable battery. I did caution do not believe the stated 2000 mAH as I find the performance is slightly poorer than the original 1650 mAH. But for a measely RM 30 - don't expect too much. I have been using the Andida on my SGS II for past several days and I can safely tell you I have no issues at ll. In this thread there are also several users and most like me complained only of the "misleading" mAH declared

I always like to quote this : My ex BOSS brand new imported Mercedes S Class valued at RM 800,000 broke down on the highway on week one itself !!!! So, does this means the MB is a poor quality car ??

Just for curiosity I have also in May purchased 2 cheap 1800mAH batteries ( US$5 each ) - used it for 4 months , also no issue. The performance loses out to the Andida . Till now my original battery used only less than 2 weeks and I have the phone nearly 4 months +
I have just placed order for 1 unit Mugen 3500 and 2 units of Momax 1700 and I am very sure it will be great and better than the cheapos I have tried
Those who know me personally knows that I am a " adventurous" type and I do not worry about screwing up my phone. I don't think/worry about warranty. I just like to buy stuffs to test and compare. Same goes for my various purchase of portable chargers ( have bought 7 but kept 3 ). I have kept my favorites ; the rest are already dump as it fails my expectations

IT normally takes about 3-4 hours to fullcharge the battery from say 5%. So what you can do and what I always do : Buy a timer plug. Plug your desk charger to it. Set it to 4-5 hours. After 4 hours, the current will be disconnected. But be prepared when you wake up you will not have 100%, probably 95%

Are you sure our charger will auto off after two hours.?
I thought we need to charge atleast 3hours if our battery is less than 5% left. If the charger went auto off after 2hours then how to get full battery charge?
~~duhh~~ now i'm confused :-(

Haha, I think he just meant that it will charge till full and then cut itself off. 2 hours being a roughly average value for a charge smile.gif

Wanna ask some basic questions :

Can sgs2 read png files? And does it shows up in gallery?

I transfer files through kies air/usb storage but it wont show up in the gallery. Any idea why? Or where should i drop the pictures to?

Frankly, i think it's our phone itself that have auto cut off system once the battery is fully charge but not the charger. Unless our charger have a timer of some sort then most probably it's our phone that prevent the current from keep on coming.
But..., i might be wrong though ~~lol~~

Do spend few minutes read page 1 FAQ post # 3 Q16 a,b,c on battery especially on battery behavior
You can safely leave it overnight as once charge, the builtin chip will auto cutoff .
It is simply my habit not to have electric devices plug in and switch on if I do not have used for it. Call me paranoid, I just do not like the idea of a live current in the wires connected to a live " switch on" device when I do not need it. In my house only the fridge is on 24/7 . When I go to bed, everything is switch off. I don't even switch on my porch lights as there is a well lighted streetlamp just right in front my house. If I need to download stuffs overnight, similarly I used a timer to auto off the computer , setting it to the estimate download completion time

If it doesn't show up, I guess the sgs2 can't read PNG files. Because the gallery will detect images from practically any folder in the phone and place it there for your viewing.

YES ; png are basic graphic files. I have many png files in my phone . Many apps uses png files as their logos too. It will shows up in any picture/graphic viewer including gallery
Just drop the files in any folder - there is no rule/restriction
Most probably your file transfers are unsuccessful if you don't see it . Anyway I never used KIES as I have written it off as the worst file transfer/sync software I have ever use. I install KIES just for its phone drivers
