No picture because I can't (and don't dare) to pry his mouth open.

I see some white finger-like growth sticking out of the bottom of his tongue whenever he licks his nose.

I'm going to monitor it for a week or two first and see if it's growing.

personally i would head to the vet to confirm, since we can't really monitor something like a touchwood* tumor, what with placebo effect and all.

lil had a "growth" under her chin .. but then hair started sprouting from it so it went from a tumor scare to beauty mark celebration ._x;

Brought Nephthys out to the park again, this time she ran around a bit but still end up trying to blend into the grass as a round cushion of spikes after a while.. not much exercise from there. But i did caught her a few times running the wheel outside her cage, thought when she sees me she'll stop and hurry back into her cage ~_~

lil's fav spot in my garden .. or rather parent's place's garden is being overrun by ants! ants i tells ya!

she was peacefully chillin till she started scratching and running around in circles while sniffing, licking and chewing around a circumference. upon closer inspection.. i found ants!

dont worry. my old hedgehog 'love' ants too. She will purposely go to a place infested with ants and get bitten

wanna ask about the quilling stage of a hedgie, when its quilling, many quills will drop out right? around how many quills will com out per day? and will there be any bald patched on the body?

my boy is 7 months n i think he is quilling coz at the bald patches there are new quills popping out. I do check every quills for the balls at the end, all attached.....so mites being ruled out....bt still the process of dropping quills are terribly fast, thats why i got worried.......anyone? thanks smile.gif

No, it's normal.
No need to worry unless the ball at the end of the quill is missing.
Chubby's back looks like that as well.
