Bunny>yea mine too, she turns into a ball when i found her, its like she knows she in trouble for doing what she did XD

its sad but mine balls up every time i first approach her, she will only relax after she sniff my fingers.

and u guys have any prob with suicidal hedgies? mine doesn't seem to be afraid of heights... she just.. walks into thin air when she's at the edge of something, and catching her is painful X_x

LOL @ suicidal hedgehog.

try placing something to cushion her fall rather than catching her, imo. he probably just thinks it's normal to jump of extreme heights since someone would always catch her :P

Well its usually so sudden that I'll reach out instinctively. Yesterday she walks off the chair, bounced on my hand when i tried to catch her(ouchh), popped on the floor and continued running around the floor like nothing happened...

Yay 3 new pupas! ants tried to attack them. thank goodness I found out in time when ants started swarming in the cup they are in. I usually won't kill ants for no reason but and angry mommy can really kill >8( and i didn't know pupas can still twitch, i thought they're suppose to be hard and solid?

I guess they just feel the need to act like a 'wild' hedgehog after being out of the cage for long hours -______-

I've been waiting for this documentary ever since I saw the introduction of Pets 101 on Animal Planet.

Nephthys scratches a lot too O_O but I couldn't find any mites and the quills that drops off has the cuticle... I hope she's fine, i bath her weekly too (some times more if she dirties herself)

Nephthys trust me more now (HURRAH!!) Bribing with worms does help a ton XD Her spikes are almost never up =D

After watching pets 101...

NO WONDER SHE'S NOT AFRAID OF HEIGHTS! her quills are shock absorbers!

I asked this here a while ago but no one seemed to notice it.

I noticed an abnormal growth on Huffster's tongue recently & it looked to me like one of his tooth grew out of his tongue.
I don't think it's a tooth but it certainly doesn't look normal.

If I bring him to the vet, do you think he'll be put under anaesthesia for the vet to check his tongue? sad.gif
