I guess so since we get the report inside the building which should be inaccessible to public after office hours.

Just wrote a short article on Maybank Petronas Visa 8X TP on weekends. Click here to read my article on Maybankard Petronas Visa and Maybank Islamic Petronas Ikhwan Visa. With 4 types of Petronas Visa, no wonder Maybank received Visa award for being the best bank. And I can't seem to find anywhere that states these cards earn 1X TP for other transactions. Too lazy to go see my previous Maybankard Petronas statement which I have terminated after I got the Maybankard 2 Cards last year.

I've followed your advice in your blog to go for UOB ONE card for Petrol usage (below RM600 per month).

Your proof of income document (payslip, EA, etc). No more using reference cards.
Yes, you can apply cc from 2 different bank at the same day but to note that some banks have internal policies that when you do so, they'll auto cancel your application and deem it unsuccessful.

(You won't get this answer from the CS)

Existing UOB cardholders are asked to contact bank instead. I wonder if they also eligible for GST rebate.

I am so glad that you have gained from my article(s) and follow my posts even tho you dislike the black background biggrin.gif Thank you Bro for your support.

Actually, I am also seriously considering to get the UOB One Card as my petrol consumption shot up this year as I have to drive my daughter to college and there's traffic jam everywhere nowadays which is ridiculous (burning money for nothing). Last month, my OCBC also hit the monthly cash back cap and did not earn anything from a few hundred ringgit. Did the first step already, applied for BHP Petrol Card (since I have SMART$ Cash yet to be used from my UOB Plat). And I did find out something very good about BHP Card is that my purchase of fags also earn points!

Just resubmit your documents. I see you are hesitant about this why ?
The banks are just going to say to you ... "Either you submit or your card application is no go". Probably things got stricter after the BNM rules implementation that's all. The way I see it ... you don't really have a choice.

Hi guys, anyone owns alliance cc? So they waive annual fee after 1 year if we request for it?
Most of other cards like mbb, cimb are already free for life. Alliance cc only state waiver for first year only.
Note - no alliance cc thread i guess better ask here

Good morning all, biggrin.gif

I am planning to apply for the OCBC titanium card.

For the application, as far as I know what they need is just my name and IC number, then they can retrieve my personal and financial information from online database? But the OCBC agent requested the full documents including IC, EA form, EPF statements, 3months payslips and fill in all sorts of paperworks.

At the moment I'm having Standard Chartered Platinum and HSBC Platinum card. Why do they need so much hassel to get this approved? wink.gif

they where can get ur financial information from database?if like that, cm privacy is a matter to worry liao...they can only retrieve the info if u are existing OCBC card holder or using their saving/cur acc for salary crediting, then only they able, else ur card couldnt proceed any further.

1stly, those SA they couldnt know whether u are existing CM for OCBC anot cz they cant check on the spot, and a new cm is a MUST for NRIC. EA form is normally for those self employed or commission earner, EPF is to calculate ur monthly income if ur payslip is not an acceptable doc,ie:ur payslip got signature or not a computerized one...they asked in once is better than they keep sending u letter or giving u call if the doc is not sufficient.

Oh I see... hmm.gif
But I do remember one of my friend applied HSBC's credit card by just giving the SA his citybank credit card. Then that's it, the SA completed the remaining paperwork. I also dont understand why it works, but it was so easy...
