For Ambank Balance Transfer - Minimum tenure is 36 months, which is 3 years if you want the FREE GIFT.

Else, opt for personal financing, or head over Balance Transfer thread for other credit cards BT, lower interest.

I have never had a credit card before
I do not have any outstanding loans at all (staying with parents)
I am trying to apply gold card (annual income requirement RM30k and above)
My annual gross income is around RM37k.
I have FD placement with the banks I am applying (more than RM30k)

Documents I provided to bank:
3 months latest salary slip
Increment and bonus letter
EPF statement
Bank account statement
I/C photocopy

Why is my application still rejected?
I really can't understand. vmad.gif

Any idea what went wrong?

No credit history, too perfect record = no good.
Sounds weird but thats their benchmark - credit history.

Anyway, they should give you the credit card. Try other banks as well.
I remember my 1st credit card was the hardest to approve although I was having gross income of more than double the required amount. In the end, I tried 5 banks. 2 approved. One year later, what bank also approve my credit card application.

Is my car loan considered credit history?
Does settling the loan early make my record too good? =,="

so far HLB & MBB rejected me.
CIMB also, but this maybe understandable cos I only provided 1 month salary slip

I'm just afraid there's fraud involved.
Maybe somehow, someone used my IC to apply for a loan. (which I do not know about)
And then, the bank saw that I have a big commitment, hence refuse to give me more credit.

Actually I don't need their credit sweat.gif
Just want the convenience of carrying less cash around icon_rolleyes.gif

I have credit history.
I took car loan before.
But I settled it after 2 years.

Everyone starts off without any credit history anyway.
If because of this bank reject, then where does one begin?

if that so, you can request for your CCRIS from bank negara. just walk in with your IC, free of charge.
