exactly, I also blur what you mean when you said your friend want to know good deal or bad deal tongue.gif Who really knows how banks assign credit limit for those earning RM36K and above.

If OCBC not suitable, try MBF for comparison sake. But I can tell you one card that can give her higher CL, ask her go apply CIMB VS, with her salary, she will get higher CL than her MBB 2 Plat. But will you then say she got a bad deal for he MBB 2?

**Edited**
CL does not mean anything, it's the cardholder spending pattern that is of importance when considering a credit card.

For examples:

If one gets CL of RM10K for OCBC TMC, does that mean he or she got a bad deal? The OCBC TMC is only good for up to RM1K transactions with the 5% cash back. RM100K CL with OCBC TMC is useless.

Compare CIMB VS where CL is RM50K but only earns the cardholder 1X points to MBB 2 AMEX, which is better for transactions at Louis Vuitton or when buying groceries at TESCO?

And like I said, want higher CL, go get AMEX charge card and enroll into Turbo Points and earn 1.5% equivalent cash back.

Ok, now I understand, it is very subjective and I was being vague when I mentioned a 'good deal.'

What I meant to ask was whether is she getting a good (high enough) credit limit for her Maybankard 2 considering it is her first principal credit card or whether it is too low.

Thank you for your explanation Gen-X..

You got the point Gen-X. It is useless to have higher credit limits for OCBC TMC due to the max cash rebate is RM50 per month.

The statement date will be fixed. Call the Customer Service to get the assigned Statement Date (you can request to change the Statement Date)
Due Date will be 20 days from Statement Date

I received my MBB VI Priority Pass Membership card by courier, I guess many members yet to get their Priority Pass Membership Card because my number is 436500 00000000XX, that means I am most probably among the first 100 MBB VI cardholder to be issued PPM card. Unlike PB CC, certain numbers are allocated to PB customers which I don't think Priority Pass does it. If I tell you the last two digits of my number, you guys won't believe me.

You guessed 67 tongue.gif

To All: Just published a short article on Credit Card Interest - Quickest Way to being Poor, click here to read it. Good for those wanting to calculate interest charges and duration to settle outstanding balances. And to add, alexwsk have also given a link (for some time now) to credit card interest calculator in the first post of this thread.

how do banks determine your credit card expiry date when processing your application? does it depend on your credit worthiness too?

i have seen cases where more than two people applied for the same card from the same bank but were given different expiry dates: one is two years from approval date, one is three years from approval date and another is five years from approval date.

what are the deciding factors when determining this? can someone please answer this?

what ? What ? WHAT ? Your kids must like you so much for willing to bring them to 2PM's concert. I have the "This is for my HOTTEST" special album too, by the way. I saw another version of this album when i was in Seoul last month. I really wanted to go but both the concert and plane tickets were too expensive. So i did not go cry.gif These 2PM kids are smiling all the way to the bank man... tongue.gif

I don't think 2PM themselves making lots of money but Ticket Charge and JYC, Yah, the tickets are overpriced for the Rock Pit, but my daughter wanted to be near the stage, not only am I deft now but my legs are sore. Well, I had to take them there so might as well go join them and thought I try to fell like 18 again, haha. You talking about this special edition album which you have too?. Didn't know you a KPop fan. Told my wife I only going to a all girl KPop band concert next time and see some legs, haha
