gerrardling, I just posted my article on Platinum credit cards at my blog. Nothing much and I guess most you already know. But I did find the most exclusive and prestigious platinum credit card while doing the article and is from CIMB Bank.

previously for ambank, rm60k is for islamic plat, rm90k for conventional plat.

and mbb previously normal plat (not co-branded) is rm120k. now half already?

card type seems nothing nowadays? sweat.gif

Gen-X,

UOB Preferred min income is rm70k/year.
HLB normal (not co-branded) plat is rm60k/year.

btw, why u stated PBB plat on higher ranking?
the visa cashback just little, while mastercard give points.

depends on each card t&c.
usually card with sign-up promo (example cashback) cannpt* cancel for certain period (example 6 months).

besides, usually after a card had been approved, u'll be charged with gst and must pay for it.

And in the first place if you don't intend to keep the card then don't apply.
Don't forget the GST is chargeable the moment the card is approved (BNM also stated this in their circular to the bank) and not when you activate or upon first use of the card.

Hi guys, I have a question about unbilled transaction.

I swiped my card last week and when I checked online, it still shows no unbilled transactions found (last statement closing is on 17th October). Does it take a couple of weeks to update?

maybe the Merchant has not posted the transaction to the bank.
Give it a few more days. Care to share the Merchant name?
Sometimes it goes missing and you don't even need to pay... Best outcome.

AEON Jusco grocery shopping last Monday and pumped petrol at Caltex on Wednesday.

Just scared something wrong, when I received the mail with my card, the side was opened (seal not broken though). And activation through SMS was successful.

since the seal not broken, and u can swipe, means all is ok.
