Last when I was at Maybank's treatsfair 2011 in july, bukan main kuat n power they promote their personal loans that time with on-the-spot approval. their rates were 11-13% PA. Some more ada lagi announced that they will be launching Islamic personal loan scheme.
So its kinda shocking n perplexing to hear that their PL dept is closing down.

Anyway I applied for Alliance Bank PL, was approved in 2 weeks or so - apparently took so long because the HR of my company was unreachable LOL.

8.88% PA interest, no other hidden charges. Applied via kenshin1, recommended service! Thanks bro.

already try RHB easy express but got rejected today.the lady said i need to work more than 1years.. (the requirement said more than 6 month?).can anyone guide me which bank suitable for me to do ploan?

if u guys want to settle ur credit card o/s or other bank's personal loan SCB offers min 7.29% p/a . we will settle the c/c o/s and the P.loan, just pay to SCB.. its kinda c/c balance transfer but u can take 30% cash.

Eg : CIMB c/c - rm 15k
HLB c/c rm 20k
total : Rm 35k - settlement & Rm 15k cash @ 7.29% +

7.29% starts for loan amount Rm 50k and above... max interest up to 8%+ which is cheaper than your c/c o/s p/a

How do you come up with such a statement?
You are comparing % vs % without bordering whether they are reducing balance/non-reducing balance.

Do simply calculation, say 50k for 10years.

Credit card at 18% (worst case) for 10 years, total payment $71k.
Your-so-called-cheaper-rate PL at 7% for 10 years, total payment $85k.

It is not CHEAPER in ANYWAY.
