My friend's experience (I was asking him because I was looking to borrow):-
Approved PL from HLBB. 20K for 5 years 7.5% p.a (reducing balance). He is a sole proprietor but in business for 5 years. Income is RM6500 per month (this is his average income according to the banker but his collection is about 15-20K) and has one housing loan of RM380K which he is paying about RM2K per month. A car which he is paying about RM800 per month. He has credit card debt of about RM15K which he pays 1-2K per month. He said he used the PL to pay the credit card as the interest rate was lower. He said the installment is RM460 but he pays RM1K every month. This post has been edited by cynthusc: Mar 6 2014, 05:12 PM |

QUOTE(jepakazoid_82 @ Mar 12 2013, 01:57 PM) I just called Bank Islam since I see their flyers of personal loan starting from 3.25% per annum. Unfortunately you need to be an engineer or an accountant. For engineers you need to be registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia. Damm. Im working in private sector and wish to apply for personal loan. Which other banks are good? Hello, can we, who work as engineer with registered to Board of Engineers Malaysia, apply personal loan at government rate? Those who are bank rakyat or bank islam officers, please give some opinions on this. Thank you.... |

Hi..I want to apply personal loan..But the problem is I'm not employed or self-employed because I'm Forex trader..as of now, i only have 1 commitment which is my housing loan with public bank (4 years 270k) without any late payment..no credit card and CCRIS and CTOS both clear..i earn 6k-8k per month..is there any way for me to apply for personal loan? My friend suggests that i should have a company and transfer my earnings every month to the company bank accounts..Thanx..

Hi guyz, today alliance call me to inform the salary required for personal loan has increased to rm3k per month and advise me to apply for fast cash.
From what alliance told me, its better to take fast cash because of low interest rate, 5.99% p.a .What do you guys think ? Btw, is it possible to apply loan from multiple bank in one time because Im pretty sure the amount alliance offer is not enough |

QUOTE(zeroshiki @ Mar 18 2014, 12:37 AM) Thanks for the info ken depents on how much u wan to loan, if small amount 3-5k should be ok. How about fast cash vs PL? From what i see, fast cash is better because lower interest rate . Btw, i plan to pay back within 2 or 3 years Bcoz fast cash we offer based on your approve card limit, maximum 80%. Lets say bank approve u 5k limit, u only can convert 4k cash. but for p.loan, bank offer based on your nett income x4 - x 7. |
