Bank Islam package personal loan, 3.25%

Something wrong as it is far below market interest rate?

hmm.gif I think no harm trying-lor....cos there are more criteria to evaluate than just your EPF statement. just example, they can lend you less if they wanted to.

the other catch is i get cash cheque from company for salary meaning i go to public bank and cash out the cheque over the counter . so the salary in not credited into my bank account (maybank). this i believe is a problem if they need to check bank statement.

got any way (documented proof of at least 6 months) to convince the bank that you got a steady income that you can pay the loan?

Based on my experience, ccris showing 3 = Confirm reject.
It's very important to keep your ccris clean if u wanna apply for something with the banks brows.gif

No harm to give it a try, since every bank got different policy & T & C.

*Ccris record only will be showing latest 12months record, means from last year 2012 till up to date
Based on your comment, your ccris should be something like this :

Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun July
0 0 0 0 0 1 2 3 4 0 0 0

personal loan & motorcyle loan are not the same.

Example = For motorcycle loan, if u unable to pay in the future. They still can send over some officer to " tarik balik " your motorcycle. But how about personal loan ? Bank direct bank in cash to your account, if u unable to pay back. The bank got nothing to "tarik balik ". Motorcycle approve rate confirm higher than personal loan, bcoz the risk lever lower compare to p.loan & it's a secured loan.

Mortgage, hire purchase, = secured product
personal loan , credit card = unsecured product

* Personal loan rate around 8%-10%
* Aeon motorbike rate minimum 14% if not mistaken rclxub.gif

Hi, I think everyone is looking for the lowest rate but they forget about eligibility.

I tried several banks and they all reject my application due to my bad record.  At last, i end up with one of the highest rate but at least I got what I want. No complain there.
