QUOTE(terencekks @ Mar 11 2013, 07:04 PM) Hi all, I just get my loan rejected from Alliance Bank. On the first stage they mentioned with my salary i can loan up to 23k and the sales say i have high potential to get my loan approved therefore i proceed to submit documents which i opt for loan 15k. Alliance Bank been called me up and my office as well 2 days later i call back the Alliance sales only i noted myself my loan been rejected which the sales replied without any reason. Currently, i only have loan commitment for my housing loan and i dont have credit card. wonder is it because that's the main issue my loan being rejected. Hopefully any agent here could assist me to get my loan approve. the reason for me getting loan is to have renovation for my house to rent out. Please HELP~!!!! Greetings + G'Day, Perhaps, you may want to keep saving some $$ in coming months and renovate yr house later.. Just a thought. Have a great day.

Hi all experts. Looking to apply for a loan, probably between 50k-85k to set up a simple food outlet. Currently working full time, zero loan commitment (no HP, no HL). Question being: 1. Which bank offers good rates? 2. Do all banks have a cap? Say like 5x gross salary (coz I don't earn 10k a month lol). I'm Chinese btw, if that's important. Thanks in advance

I just called Bank Islam since I see their flyers of personal loan starting from 3.25% per annum. Unfortunately you need to be an engineer or an accountant. For engineers you need to be registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia. Damm. Im working in private sector and wish to apply for personal loan. Which other banks are good?

i applied already and they rejected because of the following: 1. Working period must at least 6 months for government & 3 years for private sector (current company) 2. Has been confirmed in the position 3. Minimum salary RM1000 per month for government & RM3000 per month for private sector 4. Method of payment through employer salary deduction 5. Company must be listed or panel with Bank Rakyat at least thats what they replied to me la This post has been edited by mohdshafie00: Mar 14 2013, 02:52 PM

Need expert advice here.. yup, it's a good deal instead comparing to their normal rate. Btw there is a even lower interest rate with only 2.7x%, but only for selected existing customer. *For hidden charges, jz check thru with the sales staff.

Once i submitted all the document, they ask me to provide Borang BE. Why i need to do so? Maybe when they received your income documentation, the sales staff found out that your payslip doesn't match up with your epf / bank statement. So they will ask for Borang Be for better approval.

QUOTE(aiman04 @ Mar 19 2013, 10:56 PM) How come RHB Easy can approve personal loan within minutes? Don't they check with CCRIS first? Aiman04, This is because Easy RHB using their own system not alike any bank, which can link with Branch Delivery System (BDS) but also their system linked automatically to Easy Central Operation (ECO), dealing automatically by checking your Central Credit Reference Information Sytem (CCRIS) and Credit Tip Off Service (CTOS), such as how frequently your payment was made in the past. It can be done by using peer technique, but not alike other central bank which used document based where they need manual check their reference and system before a loan can be approve. If the system shown a refer to the branch, a document based will be done normally for those without Employee Provident Fund (EPF), just like you're applying for credit card, they have a system to check your EPF on the spot.

i think i am most qualified to answer this question, the other guy is right, the bank is OCBC bank, 90% is for standard loan which @ BLR-2.3 or BLR -2.4, or even better rate if your house is more then 1M, the 10% is for LVS (legal, valuation and stamp duty) but also @ BLR-2.3 or BLR -2.4 , and the other 20% is called renovation loan @ BLR + 1% (this is an optional product from OCBC for extra financing on your house on renovation purposes, but basically you can use the extra cash to do anything, like i said this is optional so your brother could have not taken it, and it is actually a perk for people who need cash, taking p.loan might result to more then 7.6 p.a. and this loan is on reducing term unlike p.loan, it is a flat rate, so much cheaper then cc or p.loan, but more expensive then a normal housing loan of coarse), i know all this because previously i was from a bank too, now i have switched working as a property agent.
The above reply is to answer someone who said his brother got a 120% bank loan and asked if that's possible, but i can't find where is the post already.

QUOTE(legolas520 @ Nov 22 2012, 05:21 PM) Hi all sifus... im just wondering, just got a call from BI, said that my loan rejected due to im been hit for "scoring", then i ask them, what is that. They unable to tell me the reason behind it, only able to say that rejected. Anyone mind to enlighten me that what this "scoring" is? scoring is based on your income, credit card usage, how many months have you not paid your cc and things like that. you know why actually nobody would answer you? cause all those stuff is p&c and as a bank officer they are sometimes not allowed to reveal such things to the CM , restrictions from their top management This post has been edited by ChargingScout: Mar 20 2013, 02:50 PM
