my 1 years 4 months PE declared dead! cannot start at all even battery still working perfectly. tolled to Serdang SC just now, will check tmr! damn it...

common case? battery no issue... when try to start, only can hear a bit tak tak tak sound... but no response...

a fren from proton told me that crank sensor needs to be replaced every 60k

when cranking... only can hear tak tak tak... and the speedometer up and down around 10-20km...

if speedometer will move,then not is crank sensor problem ady..should be ur ecu firmware something wrong ady

checked the battery? tak tak tak could due to battery...

if it is crank sensor, will it going to replace on the spot with new unit or gonna to place an order or just re-service the sensor? i need my transportation day by day... cannot wait for 2 days long... shit!

firmware lagi jialak lar... they will just tell u reset ECU... then problem solved... not secure ler... at the end still dont know the root cause...

Crank sensor is usually available at sc lah.. No need wait so long de..

Have you ever upgraded your ECU's firmware? Because mine is May 2010 and one day I couldn't start my engine. It cranked...but died off after that. I had to fully press the throttle, let off and crank. It could start after I tried a few times...and I drove to SC straightaway. They said I need to upgrade the firmware because early batch has this problem. I'm not sure how true is that, but I had since upgraded and never had the problem anymore (had been a month). I had this problem three times already before upgrading.

how much ur car mileage ?? battery out?? crank sensor?? ecu??
this make me worry too.
