Ya, the homeplug performance actually is affected by the quality of the metal material of the power plug in the house. If you refer to this thread for Homeplug discussion, then you can understand more. smile.gif

I read through from this thread that you can actually use HomePlug for this purpose.  The installation is something like the picture below:

U need 2 homeplug. No configuration is needed. Just put the first homeplug connected with the router and the 2nd homeplug connected to the IPTV. I'm using it and it works fine. My setup is my router is in my first floor and IPTV at ground floor in the living room.

Yes, after waited for soooo long  sweat.gif , finally it's here!  biggrin.gif

Both internet & IPTV no problem, still testing, stay tuned .....  icon_rolleyes.gif

Tested for more than 3 days, so far no problem seem to be stable!

Already getting quite a bit of requests, after discussing with the relevant person, I've decided to upload, you may refer to:

smile.gif

Since TM has not endorsed on other brands/models for UniFi usage (probably will never do so), please note the manufacturer has no intention to release it nor create confusion and misunderstanding here. The beta firmware is made on an As-Is basis solely for testing & training purposes only.

I only tested on my Huawei HG850a, appreciate other BTU/VDSL2 users can either email me (klseet@gmail.com) or PM me to confirm whether it's working.

Enjoy your testing this weekend, cheers! cool.gif

Ahhhhh, now that's good. So, it means after the BTU, we can use any any brand or any model. Nice. I thought even Access Point or Router or Switches also need to have the settings change to work with Unifi. laugh.gif

Thanks mate. And of course thanks klseeet for that. biggrin.gif
