eh guise,
i just installed vip5. first time i tried speedtest i got 5mbps download and 7mbps upload. After the technicians left, i use speedtest again and i only get around 1-3 mbps. Ping 100+ too. I retried a few times already.
what's wrong? could it be due to the line splitter? coz im using my old number too

The installation is something like the picture below:

QUOTE(ywkwy @ Oct 28 2011, 05:40 PM) May I know does Unifi throttle P2P like the throttle in Streamyx? For the time being, there's no P2P throttling for Unifi..., you can achieve good speed with Unifi, there are some forumers here can achieve near to their subscribed speed (when u connected to many seeders and peers) But Until when? Only time will tell it... This post has been edited by AjkR06: Oct 28 2011, 06:18 PM

A huge lorry banged the Unifi poll behind my house. Bringing down all the fiber and copper cables to the ground.
Surprisingly TM came and fixed the issue within 24 hours. Lucky the cable didn't snap. However there is some slight damage to the cable.

You can refer to this link for more info on Aztech HomePlugAnd yes, according to other lowyat forum member here, it really work. So far, I only know that there are some forumers here selling TP-Link HomePlug and Aztech HomePlug. You can search this forum to find them out.
