That happened a few years back when I was still driving my old car. My regular mechanic was inspecting my car when he say my "new" tyres 4 years old already (according to the manufacturing date), I was surprised coz it was less than a year when I bought the new tyres.

SOOOooo....any recommendations?

I would say more or less, all the tyre shop is the same. They'll try to clear their old stock at all cost. Checking the manufacturing date yourself isn't hard so why bother trying your luck?

If you read my original question, I was looking for a good shop to do alignment and balancing.

The expired tyre thing was just an example of me conned by a "black shop" a few years back, hence my request for someone to recommend a trustworthy shop (In Cheras).

But I appreciate your help nonetheless

for alignment, nothing beat the manual alignment. i've had posted in other tread about the
tires shop in balakong @ cheras batu 11 area. ah man tires with silverstone motorsport board located exactly
opposite the jusco cheras selatan. it may takes more than 1 hour but the result is good.
i used to send my sixers' touge ride for alignment. and the result never disappoint.
price vary from 3x to 1xx bucks.
other good alignment that i ever went to is kee hin in old klang road.
so far, the rest of the tires shop are more interested in milking' client's money. with unsatisfactory end result.

Just got my tires aligned recently at Quicksave in USJ8, the same shop that cut my throat on my repair bill the last time Apparently Elton said they're alignment not bad lol. They charged me RM118 for camber adjustment and alignment for all 4 wheels. Front set to -1.2 degrees while rear is set to -0.5 degrees if not mistaken. Went there once to fix the problem of my car going to the left by itself, took around 2 hours to kaotim with many OTR tests. Then today went back for some final adjustments and finally got my wheels perfectly straight Got 10 days/500km warranty on the alignment lol.
