If I sell STAREIT today (18-Jan), would I still be entitled to Dividends ?

You must hold until Ex-date. You can sell after 2th Feb.

No, you need to sell on/after 2-2-2012 to entitle the dividend.

Yeah, was waiting for ex-dividend to go back to 86-87 levels to buy more, guess that's not gonna happen anymore

If thats the case i think not only ARreit will be effeted. In fact most counters accross the Bursa will be effected as well. Be it Reits or equity.

Newbie question on Dividend Calculation


I have 2000 shares of STAREIT... does that mean I will get
Part 1 : 20 x 0.9233 - 10% = RM16.62
Part 2 : 20 x 3.0879 = RM61.76
Total Dividend received = RM78.38
