Not entitled.

You must hold until Ex-date. You can sell after 2th Feb.

No, you need to sell on/after 2-2-2012 to entitle the dividend.

If thats the case i think not only ARreit will be effeted. In fact most counters accross the Bursa will be effected as well. Be it Reits or equity.

Newbie question on Dividend Calculation

Part 1 : 20 x 0.9233 - 10% = RM16.62

Total Dividend received = RM78.38

A real estate investment trust or REIT (play /ˈriːt/) is a tax designation for a corporate entity investing in real estate. The purpose of this designation is to reduce or eliminate corporate tax. In return, REITs are required to distribute 90% of their taxable income into the hands of investors.
