This looks very good...
Can someone do some calculations for me how much would i actually have to pay? Sorry my math sux.. Comparing PBB with BSN...Assuming i pay full amount every month.. For Public Bank BT Amount: RM5000 Upfront charges 1.5% Interest: None Duration: 12 months Early exit fee: RM100 For BSN BT Amount: RM5000 Upfront charges: None Interest: 0.30% per month with 6 months of 0% interest/profit rate Duration: 12 months Early Exit Fee: RM100 Btw im abit confused about the minimum payment and interest rate charges... Lets say if i take 6 months with 0% interest either from PBB or BSN and i only pay minimum every month, so the balance would it get interest charges? From what i read here looks like there are no interest charges..If that is correct then on the 5/6th month i BT to another bank i would get even longer months to pay back?? |

Maybank's 0% 12-month BT : divides the BT amount into equal installment CIMB's 0% 6-month BT : You can pay minimum 5% for month #1 to #5, full balance payment on month #6 |

It's not advisable unless you buy a cheap car and you have plenty of credit cards with high credit limits. Let's say u get a 0% for 6 months, you sure you can settle in full amount in the 6th month? else you will be charging 18% p/a. Let's say you transfer it to other credit card, how many credit card is offering 0% BT? Most likely u can see in the market is 6% p/a which is higher than car loan's rate already. This post has been edited by shiroikun: Sep 9 2011, 01:22 PM |

haha im buying a 19years old car soo car loan is definitely out.. its either personal loan or BT, and im only wishing to loan about RM18,000 amount and let it be 2years installment, so far i only sees BSN had the best offer, 24months period with 12months 0% and the rest 0.375% which mean its only 2.25% p.a am i calculated right? so my monthly installment will be RM783.75.. am i right? please correct me.. thanks for ur effort of replying shiroikun

errr shiroikun i think u were wrong.. pls visit http://www.mybsn.com.my/pb_transferplan.html from that table you could see that it offering 12months of interest rate free (0%) and another 12months are to be charged 0.375% interest rate.. so in 2 years time u end up only pay 12months interest..
