is there any way to set the phone to connect via wireless when available and not use my data plan? sorry.. this is my 1st smart phone.. not sure how to configure it.. lol..

Step 3: Reboot your phone into download mode. To do so: Turn the device off, then power it on again by pressing and holding the Volume Down + Home + Power on simultaneously.
Step 4: Start Odin.
Step 5: Connect the phone to your computer using the USB cable.
Step 6: Wait a few seconds, the Odin screen will show that a device is now connected... Added!!
* Make sure that in Odin nothing is checked, except the "Auto reboot" and "F. Reset Time" checkboxes.
* Press the "PDA" button, and select the md5 file.
* Press "Start". Odin will now flash the Lite'ning Rom, after flashing your phone should reboot.

they meant u cant flash the rom through CWM, the CWM and CWM app still works. read the changelog for which to flash, latest is 5.0 b4 dat was 4.2 and 4.1, 4.0 then 3.2 ..... i would suggest 3.2 or 4.1 or 5.0 each based on different roms and have different stuffs, for eg. 5.0 removed the overscroll glow but 4.1 has the oveerscroll glow etc. etc.

You mean your SGSII can't detect your bluetooth headset? That's odd. Try go to SGSII setting > bluetooth setting > tick/on bluetooth and tick/on visible.
Then only on your bluetooth headset and let your headset search for your SGSII pairing. Once detected, your bluetooth headset name will appear on your SGSII bluetooth device screen. Tap on that name and the pairing completed.

You dont like speedmod flash chainfire separately
All these basic i said seveal times already. You can flash any combo rom, modem, kernelyou are really asking us spoonfee to yor mouth. I suggest u stop considering flashing as obviously u still dont understand or dont read wht i hve writn specifically for you

Better go for Litening first if you're new in custom roms. It's much easier that Villain

Hey guys, if u use your sgs2 in the dark (total darksness like inside ur room) you will find that even with the lowest brightness the screen is still a little bit too bright. I found a free app in market yesterday that can further reduce the brightness (even to 0 brightness but careful later u cannot see anything on screen lol)...

what i like about the app is u dun even need to configure, by default it adds a 50% 'shade' like you are wearing sunglasses.. after that u can still use the normal brightness adjustment way to reduce or increase brightness like normal (dun need to use the app)!
