Guys.. thinking on which ROM to use, should I use litening or use villian.. any reviews or feedbacks?

Guys, looking to root with SuperOneClick, but the xda forums guide says to use version 1.5 or so. But the new and recent updated superoneclick thread only has v1.7,v1.9.5 and v2.1. Which should I use?
