QUOTE(jujuzombie @ Feb 21 2005, 10:27 AM) wow strange leh for an abit board to not have multiplier options. Errr....they said it's chipset limited. The one that is good is NF7-S Version 2, not thought it was a good board for o/c ers sure there isn't an activate advanced menu or something. haha i dunno never used and abit b4 NF7-S2. |

QUOTE(jujuzombie @ Feb 21 2005, 10:27 AM) wow strange leh for an abit board to not have multiplier options. Yea i found it strange too since ABIT mobo is an overclocking board but it doesn't have that multiplier options thought it was a good board for o/c ers sure there isn't an activate advanced menu or something. haha i dunno never used and abit b4 So guys, do u think it's worth investing in a new mobo just to get that multiplier option? Does it makes a large difference in OC by changing the multiplier? I'm thinking of either getting DFI nForce2 Ultra Infinity or ABIT AN7 mobo. But of course it's a matter of worth investing? At the moment i can do (200x12.5) at 1.75vcore. I think can go further but i dare not push further now coz i'm using caplang PSU. |

I'm thinking of either getting DFI nForce2 Ultra Infinity or ABIT AN7 mobo. But of course it's a matter of worth investing? if u are using mobile ...i would say yes..u can lower ur multi to get higher fsb...greater performance...get the NF7/S(Sata) (V2.0) or DFI nForce2 Infinity ...Dfi have higher Vdimm options(3.3v)...NF7 bunch of bios selection n can vdimm mod to 3.3volts too * cheaper too...both great performance. At the moment i can do (200x12.5) at 1.75vcore. I think can go further but i dare not push further now coz i'm using caplang PSU. [/quote] >do get a better psu b4 u overclocked. >tone. |

So just only adjusting the FSB is allready overclocking ?
Is there any noticeable difference in speed ? |
