This is unbelievable. I thought MEPS already set the ceiling price at RM0.53 for IBFT last year. That was when all the banks reduced the fee to RM0.53. Is CIMB allowed to charge more than the ceiling price? mad.gif

Just checked my CimbClicks. The fees shown inside for online IBFT is still RM0.53. I wonder if there is a mistake in the website. hmm.gif

When it charge 0.53, I was quite happy than RM1 or RM2 which is imposed last time. rclxm9.gif

I started buying PC games since 2013 so I noticed the reduced fee when transfer as in bank-in transaction around 2015. What you say is definitely right! rclxm9.gif

In maybank2u online's IBG favourite account, the recipient name refer to the NRIC name or can it be a nick name?

I have multiple favorite account setup, most of it is my personal account, and I found hard to identify the account based on bank name and account number every time I do IBG.

In RHB, the name is a nickname while in ambank & hongleong connect it has seperate recipient name and nickname.

It is acceptable, as IBG transactions doesn't have the recipients name verified. I transferred money to myself while typing Batman as the name and the transaction went through.

MEPS plans to introduce ‘pool ATM’ services next year
QUOTE
Managing director Zulkarnain Kassim said currently the interbank network provider was in discussion with several banks, which had shown keen interest in providing the service.

“What we have in mind is to provide free-of-charge interbank services, which means customers will no longer have to pay services charge if their banks subscribe to the scheme,”

Something like ATM5 or the OCBC/UOB Bank ATM arrangement in Singapore. Or like JETCO in Hong Kong. Definitely a welcome change rclxms.gif

We probably can expect Maybank won't be joining this "pool ATM" service, just like the case of DBS Bank in Singapore as Maybank has the most ATM in Malaysia already.
