Currently I cannot do IBFT from cimbclicks, but IBG can. Stupid still have much balance but stated general transaction error

Dunno why

It's CIMB, what do you expect. They have poor customer satisfaction. Try banks like Public Bank or Hong Leong.

I am unable to find OCBC bank under the list of banks for instant transfer from CIMB Clicks. Is this correct or something is wrong with mine?
*
I have checked with my account too, it seems CIMB does not support IBFT to OCBC. But my friends Public Bank account does support it. So it's not you, it's everyone, just go for IBG, but they'll get it only by 11a.m. tomorrow

I am having problem to transfer fund from Maybank to CIMB. Do you have any problem?
*
What did you use? Interbank-GIRO 11sen or Instant fund transfer 53sen. Or you could do it the manual method which is take out money from Maybank ATM and deposit it into CIMB.

As you know CIMB previously has 14 digit a/c no and they have changed to 10 digit recently. Problem is Maybank did not update. How you resolve this?
*
This is my solution for you, just go in the circled link and enter your old account number to get your new number. Also, by right CIMB old account numbers should still work as I have tested this tons of times with friends.

Also, I'm a poor man. biggrin.gif

In maybank2u online's IBG favourite account, the recipient name refer to the NRIC name or can it be a nick name?

I have multiple favorite account setup, most of it is my personal account, and I found hard to identify the account based on bank name and account number every time I do IBG.

In RHB, the name is a nickname while in ambank & hongleong connect it has seperate recipient name and nickname.
*
It is acceptable, as IBG transactions doesn't have the recipients name verified. I transferred money to myself while typing Batman as the name and the transaction went through.

Your post is quite irrelevant to IBFT and IBG topics, as you're just only giving a service maintenance reminder. I could also say that Public Bank is also having maintenance at the same time as Bank Affin.

Hi all,

Is anyone having issue with Instant Bank Transfer for Pbebank? I have transferred my fund in PBEbank account to another bank. Though it was successfully but the money was not reflected in my account. Tried calling PBEbank but no one is picking up the call. What should I do?
*
Hi, did you use the 11sen IBG transfer? If yes, the 'successful' means that it is submitted for clearing by the bank and it needs to wait for the fund to clear.

thanks for your reply. I am using Instant bank transfer. IBFT.
*
IBFT takes at least 2 minutes or less, so its it still not available in your account? Have you check your name when transferring? Make sure you copy down the transaction reference no and worst of all just call the bank and check. If not escalate the case to bank negara.

Wow, this is loads of bullshit from UOB. As stubborn as Maybank is, Maybank even waived fees above RM 5,000.

Hi Lads and Laddies, just reporting in that DuitNow/ IBFT has intermittent issues as of 30 Sept 2020, I used DuitNow to transfer money from my MayBank account to AmBank and the money didn't reach my AmBank account.

Was about to call MayBank and hear the robo voice saying that IBFT is experiencing issues, hope that my money reaches by end of the day.

I deposited a CIMB cheque to CIMB CDM at 2pm today and it is already cleared and viewable at my CIMC Clicks. I tried to perform a transfer via DuitNow but error message insufficient fund. Does it mean that the money is not actually in yet?
*
Does it say that the amount is floating?
