btw, I really2 recommend devilsking's KPB v1.1 Myth ROM. Very nice interface,animations, fast and superb battery increase! very light use can take me up to almost 4 days, while normal messaging and texting would take me 3 days! with apps usage more or less the same with stock GB..

one downside but unsure if it is only affecting me as other peeps reported nothing.. there seems to be a bit heavy lag when opening the gallery.. just that only.. others, only good stuffs! =) try it here!

if i'm using android 2.3.4 s5830DDKQ5 version, how can i use this ROM? do i have to flash with 2.3.4 KPB first?

try formatting your sd card...mine was like that after i install move2sd...

If u really want to TRY roms, better try CM7.. Many positive feedback lately.. Fastest ROM for sure since its AOSP..

not sure if cm7 for ace exists.. if so, can u give me a link? btw, for the question earlier, yes, u would need to flash in KPB first then flash in myth ROM

1) Clear ram memory from task manager
2) Use stock samsung launcher
3) Dont use live wallpapers
4) Use as little widgets as possible

About the Myth v1.2 ROM, there are a few steps I don't understand:-
+ Flash stock KPB = DONE
+ Flash CWM 4.0.0.9 = ??? I have downloaded the file, looked into it, but don't understand how to use it.

Pls help. Thanks.

Added on September 27, 2011, 9:19 amI got confused. By stock rom means 2.3.4, and I tot it was 2.2.1.. and so CWM does not work with 2.2.1, and so I asked the question above.

n8210: u need to go to recovery mode to flash the CWM.

Recovery Mode : Power Button + Home

Off ur SGA.
Then power up by pressing power button. Once its open, press and hold home button. It will go to stock recovery mode. Then choose install zip from sdcard (locate where ur put the CWM file: better put at the first directory/ root of your sdcard file). Then, continue to flash to v.1.2 ROM

Hope this help.

Added on September 27, 2011, 9:38 amstock 2.3.4 is referring to stock GB once u flash it in sga. the 2.2.1 is in froyo where it come when we buy it earlier.

by default, our sga got it own recovery. But better update to CWM, coz many rom need it to flash to new rom or etc.

Added on September 27, 2011, 9:42 amanother tips: once u finished flash CWM, the app will appear at the menu. next time, its easy to go to recovery mode

have u make a backup for contact, bookmark, memo or etc before u flash to Myth v1.2 rom?

if u done it earlier, just connect ur sga via kies. Then, wait for kies detect ur phone. after that, just restore all of it.

one more think, have u format ur sd card to ext4?

hi i still blur about this ext4?...can you tell me...cause what i know is the will make the sd more size is it, how to do it.
