tommorow, i will try to install the DXKPB to my phone. it's been quite a while, but i don't really remember how to pair the files to odin, if i'm not mistaken, APBOOT goes to BOOT, MODEM goes to Phone, CODE goes to PDA and finally multi CSC goes to CSC, right? =p anyway, what is the surefire way to root a gingerbread? the first post made no mention and should probably be updated.. Thanks!

upgraded, and so far, no problem.. i give two thumbs up! it does have a .5 second lag whenever i turn off screen and turn it back on again tho.. as for messaging capabilities, I can say it is better, all the issues i found from the leaked version are fixed.. have nicer look.. next, v6 supercharge this babeh!!

i noticed this guy here is from hanoi and he uses DXKPB, is it the same as our gingerbread from samfirmware? if so, how to do theming like him? like how or what is deodex KPO if anybody knows.. thanks! =)

Has anybody tried this guy's ROM yet? mythKPB v1.0.. I am currently downloading, but it LOOKS pretty good.. From initial standpoint, I like it because it's based on the asian KPB which means I get to have my Malaysian Language pack. get it here.

hi y'all.. been using myth KPB v1.0, it's kinda great actually.. greatly reduced the lag when u wake up ur phone, kinda smooth scrolling interface (feels a bit weird IDK but negligible anyhow) nice look and feel.. it has a big weakness though.. for a guy who swears by swype, this ROM does not have swype in it.. and for a few days, i feel like throwing the phone to the wall with all my large thumb clumsiness.. reverted back here.. the dev however promised to include swype in the 1.1 version, so can't wait for that =)

anybody tried BehradGH ROM Ultimate 1 KPB? (sounds a bit like naj** punya ROM) =D

hey, btw, any of u guys tried using busybox installer v1.3? i can't seem to install it.. it keeps force closing.. I may have found one solution, but I don't know how to do this... peeter123 said to use this script

is this using adb? and if so, how do i input it?

what i did was

input --> adb shell
output --> $
input --> su
output --> #
input --> mount -o,rw,remount -t rfs /dev/stl12 /system
nothing happens
input --> rm /system/bin/busybox
cannot rm because directory not found


can anybody help?

my friend got a wildfire, fidgetted around.. i personally didn't like it much, but i would suggest u compare the specs first.. just google and look at the specs.. to me, galaxy ace is just better but maybe i am biased

btw, I really2 recommend devilsking's KPB v1.1 Myth ROM. Very nice interface,animations, fast and superb battery increase! very light use can take me up to almost 4 days, while normal messaging and texting would take me 3 days! with apps usage more or less the same with stock GB..

one downside but unsure if it is only affecting me as other peeps reported nothing.. there seems to be a bit heavy lag when opening the gallery.. just that only.. others, only good stuffs! =) try it here!

hey guys, i have to understand something here.. i'm about to flash myth 1.2 from 1.1.. now that i have a2sd with ext4 partition, no nid to backup apps la kan? just flash and apps still there right? but what about contacts, messages and stuff, will they stay in the phone?
