does anyone have problem after update ver 2.3.4? i always facing problem with force stop. pls advise.

aside from random screenshot happy when pressing the home button and samurai II hangs..thts about it..nvr experience no force stop b4

I followed the instruction closely, just need to confirm after i flash, i still can see all my previous data in the phone? like my apps , phonebook n sms

The thing i notice is, when i go to application menu, it is semi transparent and i can see my home as well

Well done! ya the theme is transperent.
Last time I flash I can't see anything, the phone is just like new. No apps, sms what so ever, maybe it's because i didn't backup using Titanium, phonebook I import from SD Card.

hboot is the screen when i press vol down+power on right?

I have done that part to S-OFF, followed by Recovery, permanently root sensation and finally CID

Once done everything, i use hboot screen, go to cwm and install leedroid from there

such an high capacity wouldn't harm the phone or the battery itself? i knew that theres output limit but..as the powerbank could be use for laptop charging..so, i wondering whether the output limit will be too high for phone or not..=]

as long as the output is not greater than 1A then it is suitable for charging the Sensation.

Well I'm confused, was thinking of getting a 32GB microsd so did some reading up, and ended up more confused.

After thinking about my needs, I don't really take a whole lot of FULL HD videos, and the ones I do take turned out well with my current stock Sandisk 8GB class 4, no choppiness or stuttering. Stuttering only occurred when I was using m-deejay's camera mod to use the maximum bit-rate to record FULL HD.

I suppose main purpose would be to put more videos and music into my phone and the various backups etc.

Hence, from that reasoning, and taking into account brand preference, it came down to:-

Sandisk 32GB Class 4.

Would there be issues in FULL HD video playback on a class 4 card?

3. Permroot = not achieve, facing below error. Trying a work around now.

1. First Try the above method of repeating it 3 times to achieve root. some users are getting installation aborted. but on third attempt rooted successfully

2. Failing that: Download su-2.3.6.1-ef-signed.zip AND su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip.
3. Place both of them on the root (main folder) of your sd card and flash su-2.3.6.1-ef-signed.zip using Step 3 from post 1. it is likely it may repeat the error above. INSTALLATION ABORTED
4. Flash su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip now using step 3 in post 1. YOU SHOULD BE NOW ROOTED!

Guys,
Is that really worth to install custom roms such as LeeDroid or InsertCoin? I am still running on stock rom without s-off and permanent rooted.

The only think I dont like about stock rom is battery life. It's drained fast especially I turned on the data line. FYI, I have updated to 2.3.4 from HTC update.

guys I installed avg free antivirus then it detect superuser app as a threat.. should I uninstall superuser?

Actually there are a few issue with the stock rom, in the recent update they managed to fix a few but did not solve all. Furthermore the custom rom can boost perfomance to 1.5ghz which is amazing. Nevertheless the choice is up to you.

yeap its the latest, for best performance I suggest you use faux123 0.1.2 Kernel (1.56Ghz L2 Synch)as there are users reporting some issues on Leedroid Kernel 3.1.0

Personally, you won't lose out on anything as you can change back to stock, unroot and S-On. So why not try things out and decide for yourself. For my case, I'm happy with my battery usage under Leedroid.

Why did you install antivirus on your phone?, get rid of it ASAP!. If you remove Superuser you're going to lose the ability to use a lot of VERY USEFUL apps with root requirement (e.g: Titanium Backup)

How about Clockwork and SuperCID? why you skip both?

I used the old CWM that comes with revolutionairy (you just need to make sure your phone is fully charged)... yeah.. I missed out the CID... thanks for the reminder, appreciate it

erm...should I go for LeeDROiD or Android Revolution HD? LD can boost CPU to 1.7ghz... AR boost cpu to 1.5ghz and also boost GPU to 320mhz....
