ARHD 3.0.3 is out .... ^^

When they released new version of ROM, is that mean we have to reflash the ROM and clear all the setting/data?

If we keep reflashing the ROM, will it shorten our phone lifetime?

Guys,
Is that really worth to install custom roms such as LeeDroid or InsertCoin? I am still running on stock rom without s-off and permanent rooted.

The only think I dont like about stock rom is battery life. It's drained fast especially I turned on the data line. FYI, I have updated to 2.3.4 from HTC update.

HI guys,

i just got my own Sensation.....can anyone recommend which free GPS to use....

papago x5

It is not free actually. I think you can use HTC location. It is licensed with your sensation purchased.

faux123's 0.1.3 Kernel
Please uninstall HTC Sync, but DO NOT uninstall the HTC USB Driver.

Finally I get it run.

At first, it doesnt work because you didnt ask me not to reinstall HTC Sync and I tried with HTC Sync reinstall.

At last, I tried without HTC Sync reinstall and run revolutionary.exe. It works rclxms.gif

Thanks for your advice.

So the clear instruction is, Uninstall HTC Sync and run the revolutionary.exe immediately...

im on leedroid 3.0.0 kernel 3.1.0 since last saturday
really really smooth fast and stable
still monitoring battery performance, 7am-7pm still left 40%
oc to 1.5gh via system tuner pro, using smartassV2, so far no auto reboot, boot loop
really happy and satisfied with leedroid  rclxms.gif

My sensation installed with leedroid 3.0 kernel 3.1.0, sucks my battery really fast. Especially when I turn on Wifi or Data to browse internet. Worse than my stock rom previously. I overclocked to 1.5Ghz with CPU Master software.

Any clue?

Did you do the batt calibrate?
Mine only the 1st cycle..after day was fine.
Running ok with 1.5ghz without bootloop..but less snappy..
Miss the 1.78ghz smoothness

What is battery calibrate? how to do that?
Whaqt you mean 1st cycle?

Another method is to download and install Battery Calibration App by MaroSige. Charge until 100%, press "calibrate battery" button and drain phone till shutdown, wait 10 minutes and try to turn on phone to make sure its dead, then fully charge non-stop. Will be properly calibrated by then.
Owh, moung mentioned to drain till 30% but I would still recommend a full drain for precise calibration as you would want the OS to remember the exact range from 0% to 100%.

However, before you do this make sure you are on the latest version on CWM Recovery in order to avoid phone not charging issues in CWM 4.0.1.4 (it's been fixed but better be safe than sorry, so get the latest version!)
*
Another question, as we know the custome rom will be released time to time and we will flash the rom always. Is that mean everytime we need to repeat the battery calibration? It will be tedious if this is the case and I believe will shorten our battery life too.

If you are referring to the mandarin input (pin yin / hand writing etc) : setting > language and keyboard > touch input > international input

It is working now. Thanks for your great advice. rclxms.gif
