Besides OCBC Titanium, there are many cash back cards such as Citibank Platinum Cash Back (o.3% for general transaction), HLB Essential (1% except for petrol), HLB Fortune (this one complicated), OCBC Gold (0.2%) & Plat (0.5%), CIMB Visa (0.5%) and several Debit Cards such as from Alliance and Public Bank.

But since you only spend RM1K to RM3K, the returns from the above mentioned cards won't give you more than RM30 in cash back monthly (excluded petrol since you did not state as a requirement). Therefore, if you not not considering insurance premiums, best card to get is still Maybankard 2 Cards where the AMEX earns you 5% cash back for all transactions on weekends and capped at RM50/monthly.

If after reading above, you still don't want Maybankard 2 Cards, go get Alliance Platinum or Premier Debit Cards where you get more than 1% cash back for all transactions.

if you include petrol, for your case you have mentioned that OCBC is out, Iwould say you can consider Citi Plat Cash Back where it does give you 5% for ALL petrol stations but capped at RM30 a month (or petrol RM600). But overall, MBB 2 Amex still better since you gives 5X and 5% (weekends) for other transactions compared to Citi Plat CB 0.3%. Do read the link I posted earlier on Citi Plat vs MBB 2 Amex at my blog.
