Hi,

I'm currently holding P2 pass. My question is can I drive a Singaporean car plate with Malaysian driving license?

I came across a car sharing rental site carclub.com.sg which I'm keen on renting car for short term usage.

Thanks.

Cheers,
Amos

No, if malaysians can drive SG car using MY license, nobody will be going through all those hassle to convert their MY license to SG license.

However, if someone holding SG license, they car drive MY car but not the other way round.

Yes you can, if you have not been in Sg for more than 1 year.

Wrong.
You can drive if you are in Singapore for less than 1 year.
After that, you are unable to as it was more meant for tourist.

I was wondering, is there any visual difference between P1,P2, Q1, S? I have seen a few passes and they look like the same to me.

Previously EP and S Pass were different due to the exlcusion of the picture and fingerprint on EP. But now EP and S Pass look similiar, compared the difference between P1 and P2.

Nolah, it's just a letter explaining basics of the assessment year, etc etc, and giving a few websites ask me to go read up on SG income tax. Won't have to worry about tax til next year tongue.gif
