No...this only applies to singapore PR....the re-entry permits allows a singapore PR to go out and come in again as a PR

Guys,

My GF has used up 45 days of her 60/90 days in Singapore on tourist visa thing. She's already gotten her EPEC and yesterday she applied for a long-term visit pass. From the webpage:

QUOTE
For applications submitted via e-VP, the usual processing time is about 4 weeks.

So it seems that the LTVP won't be ready in time, so in 2 weeks she needs to leave Singapore (can't stay more than 60 days in every 90). Assuming she gets the IPA for the LTVP a week after that, can she enter Singapore using that IPA, or is she still limited to the 60/90 days thing?

Or alternately, is it possible to extend her current tourist visa while waiting for the LTVP, given that as a non-PR I'm unable to act as her sponsor?

Hi,

Anyone know what are the minimum requirements to apply for PR in Singapore?

My girl friend's application got rejected recently. She's holding P2 pass and has been working in Singapore for 1 year 1 month when she applied for it. 2nd company in Singapore.

Cheers,
Amos

So far all mine were immediate within the same day or next working day. 3rd job in Singapore with P2.

Please refer to http://www.ica.gov.sg/page.aspx?pageid=151&secid=150 for your eligibility, i guess you understand you are eligible to apply but application not necessary going through sucessfully. You can ask your GF give ICA a call and check with them what's wrong with the application, and you can also inquire about the process for appeal. Appeal before you make second application.

Go into SG, do your medical report after you collect IPA from your HR.

After get your medical report that show you're FIT to work, go back to HR, to do E-Issue,

Then can go to MOM after schedule the appointment with MOM..

Should able to get the E-Pass after 5 working days..

Welcome to Singapore~ rclxms.gif

You can actually start work with the IPA. I think Medical check-up is up to your new company whether they want or not (my company didn't require me to do so).

For me, with my IPA I entered SG on 31st May, started work on 1st June. Already start working that time then complete the formalities i.e. getting HR to sign IPA, issuing EP, making appointment to go fingerprinting, picking up EP card, etc etc.

Renting you will need it to show you can stay long term.
Entry, no need.
For medical, you must do it in Sg (most likely not recognized if M'sia doctors laugh.gif laugh.gif )

To collect your EP you will be required to present:
• A copy of the IPA letter
• Recently taken passport size photograph
• Original passport with the entry embarkation cards
• Medical exam report* (if the In-Principle Approval states that you require one)
• Any other documents that are requested in the approval letter
* You can get a medical examination done in your own country through an established clinic/hospital or in Singapore. Most clinics in Singapore can provide medical examination and report within a day.

Hi,

I'm currently holding P2 pass. My question is can I drive a Singaporean car plate with Malaysian driving license?

I came across a car sharing rental site carclub.com.sg which I'm keen on renting car for short term usage.

Thanks.

Cheers,
Amos
