An interesting article about the new Camry:
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-12-20/t...crash-test.html Kia Optima gets 2013 IIHS Top Safety Pick + rating: http://www.iihs.org/news/rss/pr122012.html http://www.iihs.org/ratings/rating.aspx?id=1414&seriesid=513 This post has been edited by cybermaster98: Dec 26 2012, 11:51 AM |

QUOTE(zweimmk @ Dec 13 2012, 03:41 PM) Space was never an issue when it comes to the Camry, it's always famous for being one of the most spacious D-segment sedans available on the market today, so you haven't said anything that people don't already know. new camry feels smaller according to my dad whom just got it as a company car, upgraded from the previous model. Btw, I don't consider the Grand Livina or Honda Stream RSZ as MPV even though they are designed to have the same seating function of one. They drive more like a sedan than an MPV because of the way they were designed. I think it's the same case Mitsubishi Grandis. All of which, I believe are a far cry compared to the Naza RIA I think the Grandis is at least trying to be an MPV. Livina/Stream/Wish are much more like stationwagons IMHO. |

QUOTE(sl65amg @ Jan 7 2013, 12:35 PM) just changed ma What did u change to in the end? The best tyre in the market now is actually Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2 which is better than even the Michelin Pilot Super Sport. Assy2 is also cheaper. A 235-45-18 tyre costs about RM 890 compared to Michelin PSS which costs about RM1100 or more depending on location. |

Or did they replace it with another Nexen? |

I used to spare Nexen and put a Rapid tyre as my spare. But im looking to replace all 4 of my tyres to Assy2. But feel sayang cuz the Nexen's are still fairly new. Thread can easily last another 6-8months. |

I wonder how reliable those reviews are for the GEF1A2? Have you any personal experience using those tires?
CSC5 is good, but rather expensive and reviews online also point to GEF1A2 as the better tyre but I wonder how reliable those reviews are. Thinking of switching my tires once the thread wears out, that should at least be another 6 to 12 months from now. But that means, no more conti-seal protection :/ |

My solution to you is just hire a personal taxi driver. No need to worry about parking, insurance, fuel, maintenance, reliability, resale value and still cheaper than owning a new car in the long run!

But ive tried Michelin XM2 and was quite impressed compared to my previous crappy NCT5 tyres. So i would expect Michelin PSS to be much better and if reviews claim that Assy 2 is even better then i would be inclined to believe somewhat. Even Lim Tayar TTDI (my regular shop) admitted that Assy 2 is slightly better. They were saying CSC5 is pretty much one of the best tires right now but I wonder.Michelin XM2 was default with my Altis. Over time noise performance and comfort went down as the thread wore out but I guess that's to be expected. |

It depends on whos saying it i guess. I notice that if the tyre shop specialises in Michelin then they would promote it. if its Goodyear then they would promote that. But with Lim Tayar, they generally promote Michelin so if they can actually say Assy 2 is slightly better, it would match the online tyre reviews as well.Michelin XM2 was default with my Altis. Over time noise performance and comfort went down as the thread wore out but I guess that's to be expected. But let me know if you find something different. I need to make my change soon. Kinda lost confidence in Nexen after my blowout. |
