ONly heard and played with the Team Seahawk Infinity I & II baitcaster
Not bad reel for the price, smooth. Basically it was simple and nice feel to my large palm.
Cost below RM290,.. cant ask much, almost like Caenan.

Sorry bro,.. havent tried any seahawk spinning reels.
Do drop by TCE tackle, heard from my friend they display mostly ajiking and tomman mostly.
After all they are the local importers and distributors.

RM1,

Please be informed that TCE tackles (Ajiking, Tomman, Banax) is not TCE Sports.

TCE sports carries brands like DAIWA and seahawk.

They are 2 different entities all together.

Correct me if i am wrong.

holy shit. the way they handle the fish is abit rough right? i've seen other ponds restock fish, they simply slide down the fish on a plastic like cloth into the pond from the lorry. in a way less damage will be done to the fish.

Added on July 11, 2012, 10:03 pmdear sifoos,

I just received my Daiwa TDA, need some advice since its the first BC i bought.

Reel works fine and great but notice that the reel handle can go reverse. Technical specs says it has infinite anti-reverse. But mine more like infinite reverse. Set knob tension and star drag,.. still the handle can go backwards. why like this ar?

Bro,
Seems like your anti reverse konked le.

Or you're holding the reel backwards?? LOL pulling your leg nia

Suggest bring it for a service, or bring to me. I'll see what i can do.

Added on July 12, 2012, 10:04 amBro Dan,
It could also because of the roller bearing not popping out to the plastic side.

See this
user posted image

The frame outside is just holding the whole thing, no particular function. Then there is this black colored plastic and roller bearing in it. If you see closer, there is sort of like V pieces of black plastic that is holding the roller bearing and one retainer causing it to go one way only.

Perhaps take a look there, the plastic doesnt pop?

I hope the A/R is not koyak, i am just praying that the A/R clutch or gear is not lock down properly. There are no shaky parts in the reel when i shake it.

OK,.. experiment time, think i'll take it apart and give it the first service to grease and lube up all the moving parts adequately. Got my schematics and 2 sites with full pics to guide.

Where to get oil and grease ? Can it be any lube oil or any type grease?

So I would need
1) Karchang (screwdriver, spanner, tweezers...etc)
2) some lighter fluid to flush and clean existing grease
3) grease , lube, silicon spray

Added on July 12, 2012, 1:36 pmthose who are keen on serviceing your own Daiwas, see if your reel schematics and guide is available here or not. please use google chrome to translate
