Ouch, not sure if some of the tackle shops does shipping or not. Have you tried Mudah.com ? Some prices are quite reasonable if you have a specific colour or model in mind. Else do try local online fishing tackle store like knkfishing or minstortackle

What sort of lights do u need? Maybe we can get a clearer picture from there.

I didnt see any new CI4 in the catalogue.

The plus version is definitely lighter than the non plus version in CI4. As i'm referring to the material used here, perhaps do enlighten us what is the correction factor? Am worried that i gave wrong infos..

Incorrect ler.

The pic illustrates the magnesium and the Ci4 only. It does not mentioned any part of Ci4+ as per say. Enlarge the picture and you will get to notice that it actually compares the magnumlite vs Ci4.

As for the Ci4+, it is only available in Rarenium series, no other series have Ci4+. Yes there are new items this year but none having Ci4+ besides Rarenium

For vanquish, it did not state any of the Ci4 material .

i've been using Berkley Vanish and has been serving me well, very seldom change as I tied FG knot to mainline which have not failed on me before   

But u need to know there's 2 types.

1. Leader Material - Much More expensive, slightly harder and more abrasion resistant. can't seem to find any tackle shop around KL selling per meter, only got per box of about 10 or 20 yards costs about RM20-30+   (Have to thank Bro Fookie     for being kind enough to help buy me some from Sitiawan when he goes back there)

2. Main Line (dunno use what name la) - used as mainline, much cheaper (about the price of braided lines) can be found quite easily in tackle shops. Softer and less abrasion resistant.

The picture u shown I've not seen it personally. Just the Transition one I've seen. If u want can contact Pure fishing Malaysia and they can tell u if they got bring it in or not.

Thanks for the link. Hmmn... it's not stated in my catalogue tho. Sometimes JDM version and our local version have differences thus making the JDM version more valuable in a way. Judging from my info, the Vanquish should be coming from Nippon country and i guess you were right Even perhaps, the catalogue didnt specify and causes confusions

It's soft and pretty good in my experiences.

For my light jigging, i prefer the Alpha-Ex so that my jigs would tango freely. But if big game like deep water or popping, Galis would be my preferences.. Harder leaders for hardcore i assume LOL

BTW, since you will be in Peninsular, would there be a chance for the whole group meet up? TT perhaps?

I also agree with Sifu Rorytate on the Alpha-ex leaders... cheap and good... easily found in most tackle shops (kepong, Puchong etc.) although haven't seen any below 30lb lah...  use it for jigging myself, i guess the fish in the sea not as smart as those in freshwater gua...  especially those paypond Siakaps can differenciate 14lb fluoro and 20lb fluoro wan... sometime 6lb mono also can see...  KNN...

Wow... 4lb mainline with 6lb leader      I myself dare not go so light... like u said sure cry one when loose expensive lures  (not that I have any really expensive ones also )

i see most of the time people loose their lures is when during casting the main line snapped and the lure will fly to kingdom come... (of cos besides those that kena snag or went looking for monkeys in the trees lah ) Not sure it's bcos of bad quality braid or casting technique, Touch wood only happen to me once or twice.... also put more care on the FG knot.... make sure u "Lubricate     often...    

FG knot is good if you are luring/baitcasting as it is a basically knot-free solution; won't snag on your guides and make you lose precious distance.

Uni knot is a bit bulkier and if you cast often, you may damage the knot as it keeps getting snagged on the guides.
