QUOTE(ZintanthraX @ Aug 7 2011, 10:39 PM) might wanna get gaspari myofusion (great review everywhere), but need to save up a bit. is it possible for our muscle to shrink if we stop taking whey? example====== This is just a scenario, actual numbers may vary You need 4000calories to gain weight You need 3500calories to maintain If you dont take your whey, then you will have 3400calories. If you eat extra, and your daily intake is at 3500 calories, then NO, you will not. If you dont take your whey, and you dont bother eating, then yes. Just an example. Are you eating enough man? |

So far the best brands I've had are Myofusion, Muscle Infusion and GNC Nitrocore. My stack has changed though. It's all geared towards fat burning. I met kapersky today at True Fitness. He's making good
progress. |

QUOTE(ZintanthraX @ Aug 8 2011, 01:54 AM) You know what? I think you're right. Because my strength is sure as hell still the same or going up in some lifts. I could be undergoing a body recomposition. I don't know... I mean maybe someone more experienced in cutting like Kmaru can tell me but he rarely shows up nowadays. I met him few weeks back at True Fitness. He looks pretty impressive even with a normal shirt. |

QUOTE(kaspersky-fan @ Aug 8 2011, 01:26 AM) Yeah thanks. It feels good. You're almost benching 225lbs? Or you've already hit that weight. The poundages looked impressive. One tip though if you don't mind. When you do dumbell presses, don't spend too much time at the bottom prepping for the first rep, waste it, push it up the moment you fall back on the bench cos the first rep usually doesn't count. You need power to get it up. Taking time like that wastes a lot of strength and stamina. I used to do that too. But other than that your form is very very good. Cheers.Added on August 8, 2011, 2:06 am QUOTE(ZintanthraX @ Aug 8 2011, 02:01 AM) u look better ripped tho. smaller but more compact. wonder when i'm gonna get that big. still a long way to go. sigh. Yes I am pure ecto. I have extremely tiny wrists. And I fractured both of them during a rollerblading accident many years ago getting both of them snapped backwards and dislocated. I popped 2 discs in my back twice and had 2 surgeries. I was told by the doctor that my grip would never be the same so I use wrist straps for every back exercise, even warm ups. But despite that my max deadlift is around 500lbs or so but i don't go so heavy anymore, mostly staying in the range of 400lbs or so for moderate reps. Point is, you have good guidance now in this forum with quite a lot of experienced people/people who are gaining lots of experiences from their own research and discussions and sharing it here. I started from scratch.Supps aren't magic. But they definitely help. The only time I use my protein blend powder is once a day. The rest is real food. Of course if you don't have time then mixing it with oats and packing it dry in a plastic zipper and drinking it as a meal replacement helps. Gotta say one thing, gotta thank my ex, lol. I look and feel better about my physique than I ever would have been if I continued staying on with her. This post has been edited by darklight79: Aug 8 2011, 02:23 AM |
