I tried opening a 50MB PDF before, although its multi-page document. No problem, no lag.

I m iconia a500 owner for 2month now.
Totally worth the investment.

I choose to buy a Android honeycomb tablet than Froyo/Gingerbread tablet / iPad cause:
1. Tegra base processor that powerful enough (see how fast HTC desire HD become a moderate phone now, compare to SGS2, LG optima 2X, Mot. Atrix..)
2. Tegra base processor is the only processor that HC is supporting. Upgrading to new HC should just come to Vendor decision than technical bottlenet.
3. 10" inch tablet is sufficent big for every daily PC work or media playback.
(Reason for Acer: reasonable prices, USB full size + 32G + no docking required, why need carry a dock around when we want a tablet).

But I heard recently:
1. Android Icecream sandwich is preferring TI OMAP 4 processor.
2. Tegra base processor may have issue working on 4G. Heard Mot. Bionic is going to switch to TI OMAP 4.
3. Tegra 2 rendering isn't as good as TI OMAP 4. (That why NvDia is such hurry to announce the kal-el processor that claim to support 1440p)
4. nVdia CEO is disappointed during the early launch of HC tablet, as most THD app isn't ready nor Android Market.

at least,
There is still someone working on Xoom 2 & Eee Pad transformer 2 that may use Kal-El processor.

The best solution to consumer:
1. ICS android support both Tegra and TI Omap4 (TI for phone, Tegra for tablet)
2. Acer still mercy those Tegra 2 tablet and get upgrade to ICS android.
(Heard Google promise 18month support & upgrade for new android from it launch date)

else we r on XDA custom rom future

Sorry I m to use to Windows environment. A pc that last many years with enabling us to upgrade windows version,
(if the hardware support that).

Same same here,... bought it because Galaxy Tab 10.1 requires long charging time. Worth the money. The unit is fast and it's 2 days old!

TS,... please add us as owners. Thanks!

No.
This is my observation:
1. I plug in the DC cable.
2. Press the sleep button
3. leave it for few hour later.
4. press the sleep button to wakeup.
5. the battery Icon show the same battery level before sleep, and no "charging icon" too
6. wait a few second later, battery level show full bar.

For me this is cosmetic issue.
And From froyo practise (no battery icon on status bar), i use to check the battery from "Setting"

Anyone bought the screen protector for the 10.1" screen? I want to buy one. Found 1 minor scratch and better put a screen protector. So far, I am very satisfied with this investment. Have linked up my Iconia to my Panasonic Full HD TV, perfect! rclxms.gif

I got it free from my CSL Mi410, which is RM 799 only. I went to Lowyat and was told that microHDMI is super expensive. Some quoted me RM 150+. So, I decided to pick up this cheap Android 2.3.4 as a toy. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

If yes, then I better keep for myself. I find it nicely fit and with thick padding quality.
