Double-Shot Keycap with Funky designs are rare, and mostly only available in Geekhack, and not taobao. For Taobao, there are several designs which has transformer autobot and decepticons, but they are not double shot. So if you're finding Funky designs double shot keycap, go hunt at geekhack. which i usually do....(i am waiting for clickclack's ice keycap...)

Taobao rarely has any funky design double shot keycap. But instead Taobao has alot of PBT, maybe some rare POM Keycap.

Well problem is, Edifier did announce AI 2 is here already, but i don't know why he's announcing again.

Hey guys, i thinking of getting blue (exact same colors as Filco Majestouch AI 2) blank key caps, any sources for it?

There's currently no keycaps that is the same blue as the Filco AI model.

If that's the case, i think other color should be fine, any sources for it?

if i remember geekhack has bulk for multi color keycap, which i couldn't remember. you can choose the font color as well. i forgot where was it, my brain fails

I suffer from hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating) and usually when I game you'd see sweat dripping off the desk. I need a keyboard that can be easily cleaned. I cannot afford to remove each key cap to clean the keyboard. Is mechanical keyboard totally not for me? I was playing with one of the Razer KB today and the mechanical keys seems to have rather light upward pressure/friction.

I don't know but, if you really see sweats dripping off the desk, i won't really suggest you to get a mech keyboard as its not water proof, 1 dip into the PCB board, and the key that water drop into might lost its functionality. :S

My first filco suffers from this issue i guess due to my bro has the same problem as urs, but not too serious yet, i always force him to use wet cloth to clean after finish using, and it might be due to my forcing attitude, leads him to just simply clean it and didn't dry out the cloth before cleaning, and my alt not functioning after that, wonder if it can be warrantied or not.

me too, me sweats like there is no tomorrow, even while not gaming, just use my mouse and can see like it is "soaked" in water....

it is highly possible, hoping that he'll sell again.


i have minor issue on this, but the safest is that prepare a cloth next to you, when you feel your hand are wet, it is best to wipe it with the cloth and keep your hand dry. just keeping your hand dry after each rest time will be fine. unless you're doing endurance racing like 50 laps or 100 laps, then i don't know how to help with this. Pause game? LOL

Quite tempted to get Leopold brown switch keyboard.

Are Leopold keyboards very similar to Filco in terms of feel and quality?

It's on par with Filco, and I like it even more because the LEDs look very similar to my Topre LED lights (ie blindingly bright). Though if you want to change the spacebar you probably have to get the new KBC keycaps that fit everything.

i saw there is led on the swith, want to know that type is special one or optional self add on one.

Most backlit keyboard have those LED insert directly on the switches.
KBC poker doesn't have LED on it but it can be modded as there is predrilled holes for LED on it.

My first mech was the AI 1, and now i got 2nd one which is AI 2 due to my AI 1's alt button not functioning anymore, suspect was water spillage during my lil bro cleaning the keyboard, sigh hope warranty goes well, its costly for me to ship back to taiwan to claim warranty.
